The new iPad Pro has reportedly been leaked in a Russian YouTube unboxing video.

A few days ago, Apple released iOS 26.0.1 and iPadOS 26.0.1, the first updates to the iOS 26 and iPadOS 26 operating systems that came out earlier this week.

The tech giant have also been busy with the release of their iPhone 17, sold alongside the higher-end iPhone Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max last month.

But, we could expect to see AirTags, MacBooks or even new iPads in the foreseeable.

Rumours have been pointing to Apple launching an M5 iPad Pro as early as October, but we may have caught a sneak peek early.

Bloomberg's Mark Gurman caught an unboxing video on YouTube showing what appears to be a brand new M5 iPad Pro.

The video was posted by a Russian YouTube channel called Wylsacom and shows about 13 minutes of detailed, close-up footage of the upcoming iPad that Apple hasn't announced.

While it can't be confirmed whether the iPad is a legit Apple product, Gurman is a pretty reliable source when it comes to Apple leaks.

If what we're seeing in the video is genuine, the new model looks pretty much identical to the M4 iPad Pro that came out a year ago. It's super thin with one camera on the back, just like the previous version.

Moreover, the newer model is reportedly a 256GB model with 12GB of RAM, while the 256GB version of the M4 iPad Pro only has 8GB of RAM.

The YouTuber also claims the new tablet beats the old one in performance tests, which isn't surprising for a newer model.

In Wylsacom's video (the same guy who leaked an M4 MacBook Pro last year before Apple announced it), it's tough to tell if there are actually two front cameras.

But another YouTuber, Romancev768, shows what looks like a second sensor on the top of the iPad when it's held vertically, according to The Verge.

A few unusual details were also noted by 9to5Mac.

For one, Apple doesn’t officially sell its products in Russia, so it’s unclear how Wylsacom obtained the device. Additionally, the back of the iPad in the video also lacks the 'iPad Pro' text seen on the M4, showing only the Apple logo, antenna line, and camera system.

Regardless, if Apple is indeed planning an M5 iPad Pro release soon, we might not have long to wait to see if the tablet in these videos is the real deal.
