Either way, Apple’s announcement means that the phones are becoming more similar than ever before, adding in a new feature for iOS 18 that Android already benefits from.
In the event on June 10, Apple revealed that one of its biggest updates yet will allow apps and widgets to be moved around on the screen.
This means no more rows or columns for an organized and orderly screen, for iOS 18, app icons can be placed anywhere on the screen to create a unique layout.
You’ll also be able to put your icons into dark mode or tint them with a color of your choice.
