A streaming star has revealed how much she has earned by selling her bathwater online.

Social media star Belle Delphine became known online for her cosplay photos, first rising online in 2018.

She popularized the ‘e-girl’ aesthetic, often appearing wearing a pink wig and headphones with plastic cat ears.

Delphine turned to OnlyFans after her Instagram account was banned at four and a half million followers.

Then, in July 2019, the streamer started selling her own bathwater.

She launched an online store that sold an item named ‘GamerGirl Bath Water’, where you could purchase it for $30.

What’s even more unbelievable - it sold out within three days.

In the caption of the product, it read: “Bath water for all you thirsty gamer boys.”

Delphine appeared on The Louis Theroux Podcast, where she revealed her earnings from the unusual venture.

During the podcast, she claimed that she had sold 600 products in total which had made her a whopping $18,000.

She said: “The internet's a strange place but it was definitely a moment where, for whatever reason, it became quite a big news story.

“I think it's quite interesting because it’s the whole conversation about a girl capitalizing on something very strange.”

The 24-year-old explained that she found the reaction from the public to be interesting, stating: “I think a lot of people found it funny because there's so many questions that come from it.

“It's like, oh, is the bathwater real? Why did she think of this? Who's buying it and what are they doing with it?”

She also revealed her inspiration for the idea: “Obviously the sexual aspects of it also is very clickable, but where I got inspiration from it was I knew that Japan has panty vending machines.”

However, the social media star has since claimed that she actually lost money through her bathwater venture.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, Delphine wrote: “Since it’s been a couple years now I can finally share the biggest L I’ve ever taken. Not only did I not earn any money selling my bathwater, I in fact LOST money doing it.

“@PayPal without any warning closed my PayPal account and took the $90,000 that I earned from selling my bathwater. There was nothing I could do, I tried phoning them up and they just said ‘sorry, nothing we can do!’

“I knew it would be a better news story to say that I made ‘sOoOo much money’ from selling my bathwater so I just kept this secret…Ultimately I’m still glad I did it since it was a really funny time on the internet when it happened, and I still did mail out all the bathwater people bought from me (which I did all by myself ) Sooo... f*** PayPal I guess?”

She followed this up by saying she had broken PayPal's terms and conditions through the sales.

Delphine added: “I apparently broke one of their ToS, and each time you break a ToS you receive a -$2,500 penalty.

“So each payment of bathwater that went through was a break of ToS which resulted in -$2,500 every time without me realising.

“They wouldn’t tell me which PayPal rule I broke and they wouldn’t give me anymore information because of ‘security risk’.

“So I don’t know if it’s because they don’t allow sexworkers to use their platform or if they had a specific issue with me selling bathwater… regardless not even knowing felt s***.”
