Everybody knows quite how much social media creators and influencers can make these days, yet many are still left gobsmacked when they are confronted with the actual daily earnings of some of the top streamers — even on a so-called 'bad day'!
While it used to be a bit of a taboo subject, many of the top streamers and influencers have been more open about how much money they earn, whether it be from single videos and streams, or across the course of an entire calendar year.
Many most popular creators have revealed yearly earnings that reach several millions of dollars, and even Instagram accounts that are comparatively much smaller in scale can make more than a decent living thanks to spouts of popularity and the right brand deals.
Reacting to Charles "MoistCr1TiKaL" Christopher White Jr.'s latest video where he revealed his decision to 'demonitize' his content following over $35 million in earnings, former Overwatch pro player and streaming giant Félix "xQc" Lengyel decided to share exactly how much he earned on a 'bad day' during what he calls his streaming prime.

Shared by Jake Lucky on X, the clip shows xQc sharing a daily breakdown on December 18, which is probably from 2019 considering the fact that it's marked as Wedneday, as he notes it being "any day between 2019 and 2023."
In total his earnings for this day alone were $45,860, which xQc denotes as actually being "under the average, that was I guess a bad day, pretty much. But it was a lot better than it was before that."

He has even broken it down into where the money came from, with $33,632 (73.33%) coming from ads that played throughout the duration of his stream that day.
In addition, $7,663 (16.7%) and $3,749 (8.17%) came from Amazon Prime and paid subscriptions respectively, showing quite how much of a difference it makes to creators that Twitch gives Prime users the ability to subscribe for 'free'.

The rest of his daily earnings were made up with gifted subs, multi-month subs, and cheers, but the figures of these three pale in comparison to ads and the two primary subscription formats.

While xQc doesn't stream every single day without fail, he's known for taking very few days off from his schedule, meaning that these figures were roughly a bare minimum that he'd earn every day of the week.
If you were 'conservative' and said that he took a day of every week of the year, and had this exact 'bad' earning day whenever he streamed, that would mean that he'd earn $14,354,180 from streaming alone, and that doesn't include any additional revenue streams or the likelihood that he'd have plenty of great days as well.
