Ozempic has firmly taken over the world with its ability to provide fast and effective weight loss 'treatment', yet the good is certainly balanced out with the bad for some as they've shared their nightmarish side effects.
The results for both celebrities and thousands across America have been hard to deny, and even when looking at the numbers you can see the material impact that the rise in weight loss drugs has had on certain key health metrics.
While it might be a little bit gross for people to look into how the drugs actually work inside your body, there are a large number of people who can use it without any significant issues, reaping only the benefits from what appears to be a silver bullet of sorts.
However, you do still run the risk of encountering a wide variety of side effects from the relatively mundane to the unexpectedly weird, and some Ozempic users have taken to social media to share their own personal horror stories that have left them in 'months of hell'.

As shared on the r/Ozempic subreddit, one user has detailed how their time using the weight loss drug quickly spiralled into a torrent of horrific side effects, leaving them hospitalized as a result.
"Had nausea off and on and figured hey no biggie I can deal with this. Boy was I mistaken," they explain. "Tuesday it hit like a mack truck. I couldn't keep ANYTHING down no matter what I tried. I had nothing but water but hey that had to come out too. I was up all night vomiting and hot flashes."
It took them until the day after to call an ambulance after failing to keep any more food and water down, adding that they were "so weak and just tired of being sick."
After staying int the hospital overnight they were eventually released with a prescription of potassium and Zofram, and it's understandably turned them away from trying Ozempic and similar weight loss drugs again.
"I really wanted this to be the tricky my diabetes needed but after hearing the horror stories from the ER and the nurses it's best I stay away from this medication. I thought kidney stones were bad... Think again."

Similar horror stories have been shared by other Ozempic users in the comments underneath the post, with one recounting their 'three months of hell'. They assert that they were met with "throwing up and diarrhoea every day. I gave up after two months, it just wasn't worth it."
A third added that their "doctor made me go all the way up to 1mg gradually, and I couldn't stay on 1mg it was literally killing me every day with so many bad symptoms.
"Nauseousness, bad bloating and gas, stomach pain, and everything I ate would have me in so much pain even if it was healthy. I since went back down to .5mg and I'm waiting to see if my symptoms get better and is more tolerable. If in two weeks I don't feel any better I'm going to quit Ozempic."
