MrBeast has deleted an ‘embarrassing’ post after the YouTube mogul was bumped down Rolling Stone's list of the most influential creators of 2025.
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, took to X, formerly Twitter, to complain about his ranking in the news outlet’s ‘25 most influential creators of 2025’.
Coming in at number seven on the list, Donaldson wasn’t too pleased and in a post, he wrote: “According to this list a guy with 1 million followers is more influential than me. What did I do to piss off The Rolling Stones.”
The guy he was referencing was comedian Caleb Hearon who is known on TikTok for his funny and witty videos and had scooped number six on the list.
Many people have taken to social media to react to the post by Donaldson, with one user writing: “THIS IS SENDING ME TO PLUTO.”

Another said: “Omg Caleb destroyed the lunchable man.”
A third person joked: “imagine only having one million followers.”
And a fourth added: “Mr. Least likely to beat Caleb Hearon in the Rolling Stone list of influential creators.”
It seems like tensions aren’t too grave between the pair though after Donaldson admitted that he ‘watched some of his stuff and it’s actually good’ in response to one X user telling him to ‘put some respect on Caleb!!!’

The YouTuber went on to confirm that he has since deleted his tweet about Hearon because he doesn’t ‘want the smoke from the shooters, spare me plz’.

Hearon joked about the incident on his Instagram account where he shared a screenshot of the original tweet to his grid, adding on his story: “You’ve done it now Rolling Stones.”
In a separate post, he shared the tweet where Donaldson praised him, adding: “I am in peace talks with MrBeast.”

Many have said that Hearon’s response to the tweet is proof itself as to why he deserves the sixth spot on the list, with one user taking to Reddit to say: “I don't even know who this guy is, but just this screen grab has me rolling! The way he's looking past the camera just like POTUS would be waiting for the translator to respond. Chef's kiss!”
Another wrote: “He’s one of the quickest wits. He is devastatingly funny. The one man who should have a podcast.”
And a third person added: “He is seriously so hilarious he has me in stitches all the time go check out some of his stuff.”
