There's more tragedy from the influencer world, with a 30-year-old Russian man losing his life after undertaking an extreme eating challenge in the hopes of going viral.
Away from controversies like Vitaly Zdorovetskiy's many pranks or Jack Doherty facing time behind bars, there have been an alarming number of influencer deaths in the past few weeks alone.
Alongside Marquay the Goat passing away at just 24, an investigation was launched into the death of 'human Barbie' influencer Barbara Jankavski.
We've also recently seen TikTok influencer Valeria Márquez killed while live, and YouTuber Finny Da Legend being gunned down during a stream.

Another unfortunate accident has rocked the influencer community, with Russian fitness guru Dmitry Nuyanzin dying at the age of 30.
Nuyanzin had just undertaken an extreme eating challenge where he was consuming 10,000 calories a day in an attempt to gain 55lb and show how quickly he could lose it.

According to aif.ru, Nuyanzin cancelled training sessions just one day before his death, saying he felt unwell and planned on visiting the doctor.

As part of the deadly experiment, Nuyanzin showed his progress with his thousands of followers on Russian social media. His daily diet included pastries, pizza, and mountains of crisps.
Speaking to his followers, the influencer said: "We're planning a major weight-loss project, for which I'll get fat myself and then lose weight along with my teammates."
In one video, he revealed his calorific binge as he added: "For breakfast, I have a plate of pastries like this and half a cake. For lunch, I usually eat 800 grams of dumplings with mayonnaise.
“I might snack on chips throughout the day, and for dinner, I have a burger and two small pizzas."

Acquaintances say that the fitness blogger had been working for the past nine years, and at the time of his death, he was offering a cash incentive to clients who could lose more than 10% of their body weight and weighed over 100kg (220lbs).
Nuyanzin joined them, and in November, confirmed he'd reached 105kg and gained at least 13kg in a month. Sadly, it’s said that his heart gave out in his sleep.
Speaking to the outlet, general practitioner Nadezhda Chernyshova explained the potentially deadly consequences of putting on weight and trying to lose it quickly: "Extensive research has been conducted, and it's been proven that the best health outcomes are achieved by those who, despite some excess weight, have never followed strict diets and have maintained their weight for decades."
Warning that these kinds of fluctuations can be more dangerous than a stable weight gain, Chernyshova concluded: "Meanwhile, people who started out struggling with excess weight, then lost it, and then gained it back...They have a twice-higher risk of dying from heart attack and stroke."

In the aftermath of Nuyanzin's death, and replying to the announcement that he'd crossed the 100kg mark, one person said: "It's a nightmare! I am in shock !!!! I refuse to believe this 😭😭😭 what happened? Condolences to family and friends, give them strength to survive such grief 😭."
Another added: "Health is no joke ! Cardiovascular diseases will be in the first place of mortality until people begin to change their diet."
A third said: "God, how short life can be. Young, beautiful, sporty .... and in one second the person is gone😢."
