The husband of Stacey Warnecke has recalled her heartbreaking final moments before she died following childbirth.

The influencer passed away last month after suffering complications in childbirth, with the tragic news being announced on social media on Sunday (October 19).

In the post published to Stacey’s Natural Spoonfuls Instagram, Stacey’s husband, Nathan, shared that his wife had delivered their son Axel at home on September 29 before dying in hospital shortly after.

Nathan said: “I knew Stace for 9 amazing years, she was the light of my life and the reason i got up in the morning. Words can't do justice to how devastating this is for myself and everyone that knew and loved her. She was my lighthouse in the storm and the world is less bright without her in it.

“As her husband, i couldn't ask for a better partner. She was the most beautiful, loving, caring, hardworking, disciplined, intelligent and trustworthy human being i've ever known.

“She made me the man i am today and everything i have in life is all thanks to her. The happiest day of my life was getting to marry her, my best friend, on a white sand beach in the Maldives.”

He continued: “She loved being pregnant and over the last 9 months told our son she loved him everyday.

“She held Axel when he was born, nursed him, saw that he was a boy and loved him. She loved him so much and still, continues to love him.”

Natural Spoonfuls was Stacey’s company where she shared healthy original recipes as a low tox nutritionist and food content creator.

In a further post shared onto the page by a friend, it read: “On behalf of Nathan and Axel….. It’s hard to find the words, but I want to honour my beautiful friend Stacey and support her family in the way she always supported those she loved.”

The post continued: “Nathan was Stacey’s rock. He’s now navigating life as a single parent to Axel, their beautiful baby boy, who carries Stacey’s spark. Axel is surrounded by love, and we want to make sure Nathan has the time, space, and support to grieve, heal, and raise his son with the care Stacey dreamed of.

“Stacey and Nathan lived a quiet, love-filled life. They never would have asked for help. So I’m asking on their behalf.

“Nathan is stepping into fatherhood with unimaginable strength and grace. There’s so much on his plate right now, and if you’re able to support him through this GoFundMe…created by his uncle…it would mean the world.”
