One streamer is causing a 'stink' by revealing why she never showers, and with it, some viewers are claiming they can smell her through their cameras. Good personal hygiene is a major green flag for many, but in the world of streaming, we're no stranger to big names shocking with their habits.
In the aftermath of Zack "Asmongold" Hoyt being branded gross as he explained why he doesn't change his pillowcases, hadn't showered in three months, and referred to his own bedroom as a biohazard, someone else is accused of coming for his crown.
Others, like Roblox favorite PowEnvy, have never been afraid to stream from their roach-infested room, while Twitch streamer Jaegerrmeister once boasted about not cleaning his room for 15 years. Now, Emily-Beth "Emiru" Schunk has explained why she doesn't shower.
Despite being compared to Asmongold due to her lack of showering, Emiru simply prefers baths, telling her fans: "I do love taking baths. Chat, can I admit something? I only take baths. I don’t shower...I don’t like showers.”

She apparently takes multiple baths a day because she 'hates' feeling dirty, but with some people missing the memo, there have been a slew of negative comments that have slammed her as 'disgusting'.
Expanding on why she opts for baths, Emiru continued: "Showers didn't exist until like 30 years ago...People tell me I smell good."
As reported by Dexerto, Emiru said: "How can you bathe in filth when there’s no filth to bathe in? I don’t even really get dirty. I don’t go outside and then I take two baths a day and then I rinse off in the bath."

Not to burst her bubble, but waterfalls have been used as showers since the birth of man, while there's evidence that the Egyptians and Mesopotamians had indoor shower rooms.
The ancient Greeks then used aqueducts and water systems to pump water into large communal showers, and in terms of a more modern adoption, the first example of a mechanical shower was patented by London stove maker William Feetham in 1767.
Even though we're not sure where Emiru got the idea that showers have only been around since 1995 from, we say let her be as long as she's happy with her bathing routine.

Despite this, the comments didn't go in Emiru's favor. As well as calling her Asmongold's soulmate, one person said: "Why on earth would you say bs like this on live stream and expect people to not feel disgusted."
Another added: "Has she ever tried dating Asmongold? they might be a match..."
Defending Emiru, a third concluded: "A lot of girls do prefer baths, I don’t see anything wrong with it as long as you’re draining the tub as you go.
“I used to love baths, it’s relaxing for your body as well. I'm sure she is just fine."

Whereas Asmongold claimed he was starting to 'evolve' due to his lack of washing, Emiru is keen to remind us that she does actually bathe.
