A UFO skeptic has recalled the shocking moment that changed his mind about alien life.
The man revealed that he previously didn’t think there was life in outer space.
But that was before his encounter which changed everything he believed.

John Nicholls, from Essex, England, was in bed with his wife watching TV last week (November 17) when he looked out of the window and was shocked by what he saw.
The man recalled spotting an unusual object that appeared to be hovering in the night sky.
At first, Nicholls assumed that it must be a meteor or a planet that he could see.
But when the object began to form ‘odd shapes and changing colors’ he couldn’t explain what it was.
He claimed that the mysterious object, which he described as ‘absolutely massive’, changed from yellow to purple and then white.
Nicholls jumped from his bed and proceeded to film it as it seemed to be hovering over his neighbor’s house.
After several minutes, the object disappeared.
Now, Nicholls claims that it was in fact a UFO and has shared that both him and his wife are now ‘convinced’ that aliens exist.
Speaking to the Daily Star, he said: “When I first saw it I thought it was a planet or something. I kept watching and it started making odd shapes and changing colors – it was all very odd.
“We have seen meteor showers before from our window and it was nothing like that. From our bedroom we can see the night sky and I have never seen anything like that. I couldn't believe what I was seeing.”
It hasn’t yet been confirmed exactly what the object was that Nicholls saw.
In other alien news, a former Pentagon official shared his own claims as to why the government apparently doesn’t want the public to know about UFOs.
Speaking to Steven Bartlett, Luis Elizondo, who is the former head of the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP) that operated within the Pentagon, claimed that people are reluctant to come forward about their own beliefs and that the government wants to keep it under wraps.
He said: “I think up until recently nobody wanted to have this conversation, the problem is the government backed itself up after 70 years of denial into a corner and it has to figure a way out.”
He added: “There are still elements unfortunately in the Pentagon that don't want this conversation to occur and they will continue doing what they can to discredit individuals and launch this campaign against them.”
