Turning Point USA could play a major role in the future of the US Senate, as it has placed a major endorsement for one candidate in an ongoing and tight GOP race, aiming to flex its political influence.
The organisation has cemented itself as one of the United States' most prominent political groups, and this has seemingly only grown since its co-founder Charlie Kirk was shot in Utah last year.
Since then, Kirk's wife Erika has taken over stewardship of Turning Point and has continued to maintain its political influence beyond the college campus visits that the company became known for across the internet.
Not only has Turning Point USA hosted a number of prominent live events across the last few months – including an 'All-American' alternative Super Bowl half time show that had a number of notable mishaps – but the company has also attempted to flex its influence by revealing endorsements for key GOP candidates.

As reported by WFIN, there have been four total endorsements from TPUSA in the current election cycle, with the latest coming in the tight Texas Senate race that could play a key role in the future of American politics.
The endorsement itself comes from the company's political arm, Turning Point Action, and has been given to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who is attempting to unseat longtime incumbent Sen. John Cornyn, who has been in office for nearly 24 years.
Regardless of who emerges victorious on the Republican side, the GOP will face strong pressure from either Jasmine Crockett or James Talarico who will be representing the Democrats, and this could end up breaking the Republican party's majority in the Senate.

Paxton, who has been outspoken in his support for Donald Trump, has declared his appreciation for the endorsement from Kirk's company, illustrating:
"I'm honored to be endorsed by Turning Point Action as we fight to defend our conservative values and preserve the freedom of the next generation."
He also expressed his own admiration for what Turning Point has done across its 13 years of operation, claiming that it "has inspired millions of people across the world, and the work that Turning Point Action continues to do is critical for safeguarding our nation's future."
Both Paxton and Cornyn have outlined their commitment to supporting Trump's policies, yet the president is yet to issue his own endorsement within the race, noting that it may happen soon after "giving it a very serious look."
