President Donald Trump has been brutally called out by his own AI chatbot in a series of embarrassing posts.
The president introduced his brand new search engine named Truth Search that is powered by artificial intelligence last week.
The AI feature is part of Trump’s own social media platform Truth Social, just like how Grok is part of X, formerly Twitter.
According to the creators of Truth Search, it has been designed to deliver ‘direct, reliable answers’.

And while the chatbot typically uses right wing news outlets such as Fox News and Newsmax, it seems the AI didn’t agree with recent comments made by the president.
This comes after Trump discussed his tariff policy on Friday (August 8), where he claimed it has had a ‘huge positive impact’ on the stock market.
However, Truth Search didn’t agree, responding that ‘the evidence does not support this claim’.

It was also reported by the Washington Post that the AI bot described Trump’s claims that the 2020 election was rigged as ‘baseless’.
Earlier this week, Trump announced that he was deploying the National Guard to Washington DC in order to take control of the city’s police force.
By doing this, the president pledged that he would crack down on crime within the city but when asked about a post from Trump on Truth Social about the matter, the chatbot said that crime in DC is ‘not totally out of control’.
It was just last week that Trump’s Truth Social announced the launch of the beta testing for the chatbot.

Trump Media’s CEO and Chairman Devin Nunes said: “We’re proud to partner with Perplexity to launch our public Beta testing of Truth Social AI, which will make Truth Social an even more vital element in the Patriot Economy. We plan to robustly refine and expand our search function based on user feedback as we implement a wide range of additional enhancements to the platform.”

Dmitry Shevelenko, Chief Business Officer at Perplexity, said” “We’re excited to partner with Truth Social to bring powerful AI to an audience with important questions. Curiosity is the engine of change, and Perplexity’s AI is developed to empower curiosity by delivering direct, reliable answers with transparent citations that allow anyone to dig deeper.”
In a press release, Trump Media shared that the AI feature was on a mission to ‘end Big Tech’s assault on free speech by opening up the internet and giving people their voice’s back’.
