Women are crediting a 'life-changing' accessory for helping to 'reduce period pain and PMS symptoms'.

According to recent stats, three in four women in the US report symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) during their time of the month.

From tiredness and low mood to brain fog, it can be debilitating for some, and can impact work, mental health, and relationships.

In the hope of reducing symptoms, people are turning to a revolutionary piece of tech that can reportedly 'reduce PMS and period pain'.

"Life changing for someone with PCOS, PMDD, and long-term depression," one five-star review reads. "It has helped me to manage my mood and has reduced my pain symptoms.

"It's not like any other treatment I have experienced, with almost immediate lessening of my anxiety. After nine months of use, I swear by it. It makes bad days much brighter and more manageable."

Another customer shared, "Less crying, less snapping, just in general a more calm time before my periods. Between losing weight and pre-menopause, my cycle has become notablely longer than it used to be, and I'm so grateful that I don't have to spend that time waiting for my period and the calmer, more positive part of my cycle to begin."

"Before this [product], I felt overwhelmed, anxious and even angry the week before my period," a third said. "Now, that's replaced with a bit of tiredness and most importantly my happiness stays throughout my cycle."

How to use Nettle

As per the website, it's recommended that you wear the device for 20 minutes a day in the five days running up to your period.

The app will notify you when it's time to use the gadget.

All you need to do is apply the solution provided, fit Nettle comfortably onto your head using the adjustable loop, and use the device for the recommended period of time.

Your pack will come with the following items: travel case, samphire loop, charger, solution bottle, and stimulation refills (30 sessions).

The use of AI to manage symptoms

Samphire Neuroscience has launched a new AI-driven scheduling system for its at-home neurostimulation devices, such as Nettle.

The brand recognises not every menstrual cycle is the same, and it's the first time women have been able to personalise the device based on their individual experience - not just a 28-day cycle.

For instance, you can plan sessions based on when you experience symptoms, how symptoms change during neurostimulation, and any shifts in ovulation.

"Industry has treated women as if their bodies and symptoms all follow the same 28-day pattern - and they simply don’t,” says Dr Emilė Radytė, CEO of Samphire Neuroscience.

"Our user data shows enormous variation in when symptoms appear and how people respond to neurostimulation. That data has enabled us to build personalized session scheduling that reflects reality, not outdated assumptions."

It's worth mentioning that everyone's menstrual cycle is different and you might not experience the same benefits.

If you're keen to try the product for yourself, UK and EU customers can receive 20 percent off your first order using the following discount code: CYCLESYNC.

Offer ends at 11.59pm on February 28.
