MrBeast hid a five-figure prize for one lucky fan in a secret Twitch account.

Way beyond his days of casually streaming Minecraft on YouTube, Jimmy 'MrBeast' Donaldson is no stranger to giving away heaps of money. Either he's giving millions as a reward for beating crazy challenges, winning his Amazon TV show Beast Games or donating it to those who need it. Now, MrBeast has taken it to another level and hid $10,000 away in a secret Twitch channel, just waiting for someone to stumble across it.

Teaming up with the FaZe Clan crew, the YouTuber created a brand new, secretive Twitch account in the depths of the IRL category. MrBeast, along with StableRonaldo, Kaysan, Silky, Lacy, and JasonTheWeen had the idea to stream from the new channel and give away a nifty $10,000 to the first viewer to come across it.

The only rule was the viewer had to be purely organic, meaning they had to be a total stranger that no one in the team knew personally. Similarly, none of the social media stars were able to drop hints or tease their fanbase in any way.

After coming up with the name 'QuantumSnacks,' thanks to the help of ChatGPT, the team were streaming within a few hours. For quite a while, the channel hidden deep at the bottom of the IRL channel was stuck at zero viewers.

The influencers tried everything from video game reactions to party games and even going as far as a mukbang. But no luck. Even when they turned to the streets of LA trying to draw attention, the only visitor they got was a bot offering to boost their views. It turns out that setting up a channel from scratch and getting noticed was much harder than it looked.

Any aspiring content creator would know that it takes a lot of time and effort to build a community. It can also be a matter of luck, with many streaming the newest video games or jumping on the latest trends to increase their viewership.

The team changed things up a bit and changed the stream title to include 'FaZe Clan' and 'MrBeast' as well as the $10,000 cash prize. Eventually, after coming close to giving up, QuantumSnacks received its first comment in the Twitch chat.

Apparently, a random fan from a nearby apartment overheard them talking about the secret Twitch stream and managed to find the mysterious channel. After quickly verifying him, MrBeast made it official and assured the young winner that his cash prize would be sent straight to his parents.
