Nikocado Avocado has revealed that he needed ‘life changing’ surgery after his viral 250 lb weight loss.

The YouTuber shocked the internet after surprising subscribers with his weight loss, which saw him go from 411 lbs to 158 lbs.

Now Nikocado, whose real name is Nicholas Perry, has shared what surgery he has had to remove his loose skin.

Previously documenting his neck lift to remove loose skin under his chin, Nikocado has now released a video that explains the major surgery he underwent.

He described the procedure as a ‘360 body lift’ which was like a tummy tuck ‘ramped up’.

Nikocado explained how he had lost an average of 10 lbs a month over the course of 2.3 years.

However, due to the amount of weight he lost in that time, the YouTuber shared that he had been left with excess skin.

In the description of the video uploaded last Thursday (February 13), Nikocado explained: “I’m finally opening up about my loose skin situation after losing 250 pounds and coming back to the internet with the Two Steps Ahead video.

“Many people assumed I had already gone through skin removal, but the truth is, I had not. Today I show you how much loose skin is actually on my body and also show you the results of getting a 360 body lift last week, otherwise known as a circumferential lift, aka a belt lipectomy, along with an abdominoplasty with muscle plication (muscle repair).”

He went on to write: “It’s been one of the, if not THE most rewarding thing I’ve ever done for myself. I feel brand new and free! You get one life and one body. It’s time to chase your dreams.”

Nikocado described how his loose skin would ‘get in the way’ at the gym or cleaning his house.

Speaking to NBC, he explained how he would hide the excess skin on camera by ‘positioning my body at certain angles, like paying close attention to my clothing and the lighting’.

However, this month he overcame his fear of medical surgeries in order to have 10 lbs of loose skin removed from his body.

In the video, he said: “If you told me ‘you’re going to have to do a second time to keep these results’ I totally would. It’s so worth it.”

The YouTuber hopes that being transparent about his experience will ‘inspire people who are in similar positions’.
