Erika Kirk, the wife of Turning Point USA co-founder and far-right political commentator Charlie Kirk, has made numerous public appearances since her husband's death in September, and has now revealed exactly what she told her daughter after the fatal shooting.
The political world was sent into chaos when Charlie Kirk was shot during the Utah Valley University stop of his 'American Comeback' tour, and a manhunt for the killer eventually led to the arrest of 22-year-old Tyler Robinson.
Being a close ally of the current Trump administration, many key political figures across America argued the importance of Kirk's death, and a massive memorial service took place at the State Farm Stadium with numerous prominent speakers.
Kirk's wife Erika has since taken the reigns of Turning Point USA following the fatal shooting, becoming the CEO and chair of the board at the organization, and has now revealed the heartbreaking conversation she had with her children immediately after her husband's death.

In an interview with Jesse Watters on Fox News, Erika revealed that she had told her children that Charlie was going on a 'work trip with Jesus', yet one daughter understandably keeps wondering where her father has gone.
"Yes, my daughter continues to ask, but it's really sweet because I keep explaining to her a few things, and I said, 'If ever you want to talk to daddy, you just look up to the sky and start talking to him. He can hear you.'," Erika explained.
"I told her, I said, 'You know, daddy's in heaven.' She goes, 'You think I can go sometime?'," she continued. "I said, 'Baby, we will all go one day. We will all go one day."
Many have offered their condolences in the replies, with one stating that they "still grieve for her and her children. This is so heartbreaking." Another added that it's "heartbreaking to hear" and that "some pain never fades."
Erika Kirk has also responded to questions surrounding her safety, which could potentially be a concern considering her husband's death and her current role at Turning Point USA.
She explained that she's "not afraid. Charlie wasn't afraid either. We never lived in fear," adding: "What are they going to threaten me with? Going to heaven sooner to be with my husband?
"And I don't say that to be reckless. I do not. I do not say that because I'm out in the streets like 'here I am, come find me'. It's a fearlessness rooted in the understanding that I will have my day and my time whenever that is."
