Scoring free games with PlayStation Plus is one of the many perks of being a paying subscriber.
Even if it’s not technically free, it gives us players something to look forward to each month. And while you can complain about the increased prices of the Sony subscription, you can't doubt that PlayStation has been delivering some solid titles as of late.
Last month, the 80s Detroit-based classic was revived in RoboCop: Rogue City as well as the scare-filled classic The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

Meanwhile, March brought the epic Dragon Age: The Veilguard, which scored a flawless 10/10 from GameRant and 9/10 from IGN.
Additionally, PS Plus’s Extra tier recently dropped a gem with Dogubomb’s Blue Prince, a title already hyped as a top contender for 2025’s Game of the Year.
But while Balatro and Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun were welcomed with open arms this month, the third addition was not.

You’d think that a remaster of the successful 2015 survival game Ark: Survival Evolved would be a hit, but instead it's frustrating players left and right.
Over on Reddit forums, players are calling Ark Survival Ascended 'unfinished.'
Despite being a remaster, some players are calling it a downgrade that's 'incredibly buggy' and almost 'unplayable'.
Other users have pointed to a problem that affects the game’s save files, losing hours of player progress.

“so many of the reviews said that ark was pretty crappy on console/ps5. i love crafting survival games, so i was very excited when this was announced to be on ps+,” wrote one user on Reddit.
“I played it for about five hours, save and close out, take a break. when i come back to it? save file is gone completely. i looked all over forums for answers and it just seems like this is something that happens on console. i guess i should just be glad this happened at 5 hours and not 50.”

Another user on the same forum called Ark 'one of the worst games I sank hours on PS4,' that is 'basically one step forward two steps back.'

Other players are fed up that the game 'shoves DLCs in your face' adding that 'you can’t take XYZ creature because you don’t have 30 dollar mod installed.'
According to some players, the game’s bugs mostly affect single-player mode. "If you're gonna play on a server you should be fine. If you're trying to play single player I'd say skip it," one Reddit user advised. "SP ASA can be extremely unstable on consoles. Being a bug though it's got a randomness element to it. Some people aren't having it others are getting it to the point the game is unplayable."
For now, it seems best to stick to the 2015 OG title if you’re hoping to tame some primaeval creatures without losing hours of progress.
