Android owners are being given an urgent warning - donât give your phone to anyone else before changing a specific setting.
The hidden feature is vital if other people have access to your device.
And if youâre worried about anyone having a nosy through the personal information on your phone, youâre in luck because Google has built a special feature into Android.

Now, people can use a loved oneâs device through a guest profile, which is basically a locked down version of your phone.
According to Google: âA guest profile is for someone using your device for a short time. Like a user, the guest profile has its own space on the device, but it's easier to delete this space when a guest is done with the device.â
While the guest can make the most of the features available on the smartphone, Google says that they wonât be able to access any personal information.
Itâs easy to set up and in order to switch over to the guest profile on Android, youâll first need to open your Quick Settings menu.
From there, tap on the User icon and select Add Guest, which will give you the option to create a new guest.
The guest will be able to use all of the features on your phone, whether thatâs checking their emails or watching a video on YouTube.
But they wonât be able to view your personal information - and they canât get out of the guest mode without knowing your passcode.

If you have a child who uses your phone, then you might not need the guest profile feature and instead it might be better to create a child account.
You can do this through your Google account which will allow you to supervise them and set up parental controls.
In order to set up a Google account for your child, youâll need to head to the âcreate your Google accountâ page.
From there, youâll be asked to add in information like your childâs name, email address theyâd like and their birthday.
Youâll also need to give parental consent for the account through your own Google account in order to finalize the setup.
With these handy features, youâll never need to worry about someone having a snoop through the personal information on your Android device.
