If there's one thing that TV fans like to complain about, it's historical inaccuracies. Cast your minds back to Game of Thrones‘ maligned eighth season, some were more bothered about the awkward inclusion of a Starbucks cup at Winterfell than the fact that it was too dark to actually see what was going on.
Elsewhere, a guy wearing jeans has been spotted on the sci-fi set of The Mandalorian, while Downton Abbey famously banned all modern items when a plastic water bottle accidentally made it into a promo poster for season 5.
Now, it's Stranger Things' turn to be slapped with a historical inaccuracy sticker, although we'd suggest some of you get a hobby.
As arguably Netflix's biggest hit of the past decade, Stranger Things' period setting of the 1980s means continuity controllers must have a nightmare when it comes to figuring out what was and wasn't available at the time.

Red M&M's have been shown in season 3's 1985 setting (before they were reintroduced in 1987), HTML appeared long before it became popular in the '90s, and one classroom featured a modern periodic table.
Aside from playing the fan-favorite Joyce Byers in Stranger Things, Winona Ryder is said to be a stickler for the facts and regularly called out songs being used in time periods before they were actually released.
It sounds like the Duffer Brothers must have a time-traveling DeLorean, because now, the show faces another historical gaffe.

Still, during a season that's been rocked by allegations of bullying, accusations of missing scenes, and the sexualization of a minor, who really cares?
This time, eagle-eyed fans have spotted a blunder in the costume of Nell Fisher's Holly Wheeler. While being trapped in the villainous Vecna's Pain Tree, it seems Holly is wearing a piece of Under Armour clothing – with its logo clearly visible.
This clearly modern item of clothing isn't the only problem, and although we can't blame the wardrobe department for wanting to keep Fisher warm on those long shooting days, Under Armour wasn't actually founded until 1996. That's a bit of an issue when you remember Stranger Things season 5 takes place in 1987.
Over on Reddit, one disgruntled fan wrote: "I've read somewhere that the Duffers have stated that everything is intentional down to wardrobe choices, but this just seems like an accidental wardrobe malfunction to me."
It seems that it's not just the viewers taking note, as after "The Bridge" aired, the streaming giant quickly went back and scrubbed out the Under Armour logo.
Another grumbled as they added: "At least they're paying attention to the internet discourse. It's crazy to me for such a major show nobody in editing or anywhere in the production process caught that."
Others also noticed this, but it seems that not everyone really cares.
One unimpressed person said: "I noticed and said to my wife 'Was that an Under Armour logo?'. I didn’t double check because I, frankly, didn’t give a sh*t."
Another chuckled: "Guys this isn't a big deal. Mistakes happen. I didn't even noticed, the only reason y'all did was because you're trying too hard. And it's clearly being worn by the actress so she's not freezing in wet goo for that scene.
“No it's not product placement No it's not them being inaccurate It's a simple mistake that got fixed. Big whoop (I've seen y'all post this too many times get over it guys 😂."
If some accidental Under Armour making it into Stranger Things is enough to have you ranting on the internet, it might be time to go outside an touch grass.
