The Duffer brothers known for one of Netflix's biggest ever shows have responded amidst claims star Millie Bobby Brown filed a bullying and harassment complaint against co-star David Harbour.
While fans eagerly await Stranger Things Season 5, behind-the-scenes drama involving the cast has made headlines.
A recent viral report alleged that Millie Bobby Brown had lodged a harassment and bullying complaint against her older co-star, David Harbour. According to the Daily Mail, the British actress filed 'pages and pages of accusations' against Harbour before filming began on the Netflix series’ final season.
However, the pair appeared to present a united front at the Stranger Things season five premiere in Los Angeles on Thursday (6 November).

Working together for 10 years, Brown and Harbour were pictured hugging and smiling as they posed for red carpet photos at the TCL Chinese Theatre.
In the show, Harbour portrays Brown's adoptive father, police chief Jim Hopper, whilst Brown plays lead character Eleven, a child with psychokinetic abilities.
The creators behind the Netflix hit have now publicly addressed the allegations. On the red carpet, The Hollywood Reporter questioned Stranger Things co-creator Ross Duffer about the bullying claims.
“Obviously, you understand I can’t get into personal onset matters, but I will say we’ve been doing this for 10 years with this cast, and at this point they’re family and we deeply care about them,” he said. “So, you know, nothing matters more than just having a set where everyone feels safe and happy.”
Director and executive producer Shawn Levy was then asked how the production ensures 'everyone feels safe and respected' both on and off set.

“At the end of the day, that’s the job,” Levy replied. “You have to create a respectful workplace where everyone feels comfortable and safe, and so we did everything to build that environment. And we’re proud of the fact that we did so.”
He added: “I’ve read a bunch of stories and they range from wildly inaccurate to […] there’s so much noise around it. But the truth is that we view this crew and this cast as family, and so we treat each other with respect, and that’s always been bedrock.”
Netflix allegedly investigated the claims 'for months,' the Daily Mail reported.
Speculation emerged about whether Harbour would participate in the season five press tour alongside his Stranger Things castmates, given both the bullying report and the release of his ex-wife Lily Allen's latest headline-generating album 'West End Girl'.
The British singer recorded her first album in seven years following the 2024 collapse of her marriage to Harbour.
