It's a tale as old as time that an actor accidentally lets out more than they should while on a press tour, and Noah Schnapp might just be the latest victim as he seemingly 'accidentally spoils' the ending for Stranger Things 5.
There are few TV shows that have garnered quite the same level of excitement this year than the return of Stranger Things, as the hit Netflix show's fifth season graced our streaming screens late last month for the first time in three years.
Unlike most modern shows though the final season has been split into two parts, with the first comprising four chapters that were dropped onto Netflix on November 26.
It won't be until December 31 that fans of the show can finally see what happens in the final four chapters, yet we might already have received an accidental hint towards a major story beat on the horizon thanks to a slip from the cast.

As shared by Movies Analyst on X, Noah Schnapp and Millie Bobby Brown were doing an interview ahead of the release of Stranger Things 5's second part, when the actor behind Will Byers made a surprising admission when asked who the 'most misunderstood character' was.
Schnapp answered that it was 'lowkey Vecna' – the show's main protagonist – prompting people to wonder what exactly led him to this conclusion before he was swiftly cut off by his co-star.
Fearing that further information might be revealed, Millie Bobby Brown quickly jumped in to save the day by shouting 'shut up' at Schnapp, and he quickly realized what he might have been walking into.

"Let's just not even, because today has been a day, it's been a day," she exclaimed in an attempt to remedy the situation with some humor. "We want to do so much for you, but we're not smart enough to dance around these questions. We're just not, we wish we were, but we're not!"
There could very well be some truth in what Schnapp was starting to say though, as Stranger Things creators the Duffer brothers have previously compared Vecna to Darth Vader, who was revealed to have a more complicated past and arc than his antagonistic presence throughout most of Star Wars' original trilogy made him seem.
Schnapp is far from alone when it comes to spoiling stuff on press tours though, as Spider-Man himself Tom Holland is notorious for not being able to keep his mouth shut, even when he's a key star in many of Hollywood's biggest productions.
