Prepare to have your worlds turned 'upside down', as the final episode of Stranger Things is nearly here. With it being nine and a half years since Matt and Ross Duffer first rolled the dice on the fantasy epic for Netflix, we've literally watched the kids of The Party grow up before our eyes.

Millie Bobby Brown has arguably become the standout, breaking free from her role as Eleven to star in the likes of the Godzilla and Enola Holmes movies. There's also been a resurgence of love for the iconic Winona Ryder, David Harbour has gone on to appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Maya Hawke has proved she's more than just Uma Thurman's daughter.

Another breakout star of the ensemble is Finn Wolfhard, who aside from playing the quick-witted Mike Wheeler, has popped up in the recent Ghostbusters movies, Andy Muschietti's IT remake, and 2025's The Legend of Ochi.

Still, he'll likely remain synonymous with the role of Milke, and, assuming he makes it out alive, fans are hoping he could reprise his role in one of the presumed spin-offs we're pretty sure Netflix is banking on.

Netflix is sure to be a 'stranger' place without Stranger Things, and although there have been complaints that season 5 has been a dip in form for the streaming giant, there are millions who can't wait to see how everything ends.

We've already seen Brown chastise Noah Schnapp for seemingly spoiling the end, and although the Duffers have said there won't be a Game of Thrones-inspired Red Wedding with mass casualties, we're guessing at least some of the major players are going to go full Eddie Munson and bow out in heroic style.

Even if everyone somehow miraculously scrapes through to fight another day, there's sure to be plenty of emotion when we say goodbye to these characters we've come to know and love for the past decade.

Giving a typically tongue-in-cheek response about who cried the most when reading the final episode of Stranger Things, Wolfhard joked: "Our agents."

Then again, with Ryder and Harbour tipped to have been paid $9.5 million each for the final season, Wolfhard, Brown, and the rest of the core cast reportedly earning over $7 million, those agents are missing out on more than a few dollars now that the final credits have rolled.

Responding to Wolfhard's comment, one person said: "This dude is hilarious. I really hope he gets some good parts in good movies/shows moving forward. He was great in both IT/Stranger Things."

Another chuckled: "He was just giving the facts 😄."

A third said: "As much as it annoys me the Duffers are so scrupulous about writing characters off the show and by extension actors off the project, they are Gs for keeping these actors employed for about a decade. I'm sure these actors are grateful to them. Also, Finn is hilarious."

With Wolfhard having already directed his own short film, and hosting Saturday Night Live when it comes back from its Christmas break, something tells us he and his agents are going to do just fine.
