It looks like Netflix is rolling out a brand new homepage and fans don’t seem to be best pleased.
Over the last month, the streaming service has been trialling an overhaul of their user interface that is displayed on TV apps.
Only select users have been able to view the new look and it’s safe to say that feedback hasn’t been positive.

Earlier in the year, Netflix sparked debate online after they tightened their restrictions, meaning that one account couldn’t be shared with more than one household.
Now more changes to the platform are proving to be unpopular after rollout of the new homepage began last month.
"It’s bad enough that I just canceled"
Taking to Reddit to share their thoughts, one user wrote: “There was nothing wrong with the old interface. It was easily the best among all streaming platforms. Now it looks like Max and I hate it. Switching profiles is now a chore.”

Another said: “It sucks so bad. Why do people try fixing things that aren’t broken?”
A third wasn’t happy, adding: “They seem to be moving to the idea of encouraging people to spend more time on the interface itself and that counts as viewing time - rather than it providing access to the content, the interface becomes the content.”
A fourth wrote: “I got carsick trying to navigate through the damn interface lol my brain is attempting to look through everything but with it being so gigantic, anything I click on the motion is nauseating like I’m trying to read in a moving car. Wayyyyyy toooooo biggggg.”

Another had a specific request, saying: “Just give us a damn “genres” tab already!”
And one person wasn’t keen to give the new look a try, stating: “It’s bad enough that I just canceled lol.”
It seems like the TV apps aren’t the only thing that Netflix is overhauling after the Windows app was also recently updated to appear more in line with the streaming service’s web version.

Some complaints online about the updates argue that the new features are actually “downgrades” rather than improving the user experience.
Netflix had previously come under scrutiny recently after people found out how their hiring and firing process works after revealling it implements a bizarre “keeper test”.
On their website, Netflix said: “In the abstract, the keeper test can sound scary. In reality, we encourage everyone to speak to their managers about what’s going well and what’s not on a regular basis. This helps avoid surprises.”
