Dr Disrespect goes on 14 minute rant calling out ex-Twitch employee claiming he should never have been banned

The streamer has made claims that there is 'more to disclose' about his Twitch ban

Dr Disrespect went on a 14-minute rant where he called out an ex-Twitch employee who revealed why the creator was banned from the platform.

The streamer, whose real name is Herschel ‘Guy’ Beahm IV, claimed that he should not have been banned and suggested that the ex-employee would face ‘repercussions’.

Dr Disrespect was mysteriously banned from Twitch in 2020 but it wasn’t until Cody Conners, a former employee of the platform, began to shed some light on the situation in June 2024 that the reason behind the ban became public.

Conners accused the streamer of sending inappropriate messages to a minor and trying to meet up with them at TwitchCon.

At the time, Dr Disrespect confirmed the allegations in a statement that has now been deleted from X, formerly Twitter.

In the statement, he had said: “Were there twitch whisper messages with an individual minor back in 2017? The answer is yes. Were there real intentions behind these messages, the answer is absolutely not.

“These were casual, mutual conversations that sometimes leaned too much in the direction of being inappropriate, but nothing more. Nothing illegal happened, no pictures were shared, no crimes were committed, I never even met the individual.”

Now, the disgraced content creator has made his return by hosting a live stream on September 6 where he went on a rant about Conners.

In the clip, Dr Disrespect said: “Cody, why do this? What was the point? This was settled professionally. And you, knowing how black and white the internet is, decided to leak the reported reason Twitch banned me in 2020. For what? Why?

“Did you not know the repercussions about spilling lies about the two-time? Do you not know the repercussions of accusing me, Cody Conners?

“You don’t know s*** and it was obvious from your tweet.”

Conners has since responded to this apparent threat of legal action in a series of posts.

In the first one, he uploaded a screenshot of ChatGPT, asking: “What kind of lawyer do I need when I am definitely not getting sued?”

In another, he wrote: “Siri, when do I need to leave for the courthouse if I don’t have to go?”

Dr Disrespect’s ban turned into a legal battle between the creator and Twitch. No party admitted to any wrongdoing and the case was settled in 2022, with Twitch paying out his contract.

He’s since claimed that there’s ‘more to disclose’ about the ban.
