A newly released movie is making its way to Disney Plus but subscribers don’t seem too pleased about it.
The film was advertised as a musical reimagining of a classic 1937 film but was met with a disappointing reaction at the box office.
With a low score on Rotten Tomatoes of 40%, the movie is expected to make a loss of around $115 million.

The live action version of Snow White was released to cinemas earlier this year starring Rachel Zegler as Snow White and Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen.
Now, Snow White is dropping on Disney’s streaming platform and is available to watch on Disney Plus from today (June 11).
However, users of the site don’t seem to be excited to stream it, with many taking to social media to share their own thoughts on the news.

On Reddit, one user wrote: “I watched this for free on my friend’s plex the other day with my daughter and even I feel like I wasted money on it.”
Another said: “No I will not and you can’t make me.”
And a third person added: “I just flat out refuse to watch any of these remakes.”
Although, not everyone was as pessimistic about the live action remake, with one user making a good point by saying: “I find I always enjoy a movie more when I'm not paying for it.”

And another added: “It’s a kids movie. And it fits perfectly well in that role and much better than much of the more mass produced drivel out there.
“It’s certainly not a huge, blockbuster hit. Enjoy it for what it is and recognize it’s not reinventing any wheels, even though the story is modified.”
The movie received mixed reviews upon its initial release in March this year.

One critic wrote: “The jumble of tones and styles laid atop this basic narrative feels like it’s trying to please everyone and ends up pleasing no one.”
Another gave their harsh opinion, saying: “Gadot’s performance is easily the biggest failure of the movie. There are no words for me to describe how absolutely abhorrent she is in the role of the Evil Queen.”
And a third critic added: “A film made by people with cartoon dollar signs for eyes and not even the tiniest glimmer of art in their souls.”
In one kinder review, a critic made a point by writing: “In terms of just a movie -- that I saw with a bunch of children -- the kids love the movie, and the adults just might want to step back.”
