Elon Musk responds to Anonymous after hacking group called him out over NYC mayoral election

Their ongoing feud continues

There's more bad blood between Elon Musk and Anonymous, with the world's richest man adding another powerful enemy to his list of critics.

Whether it be ex-wife Grimes, author Stephen King, or former Trump strategist Steve Bannon, Musk is known for falling out of favor with some pretty big names.

Most notably, the tech billionaire felt the wrath of the President when he clashed with Donald Trump over the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. As Musk crashed out, he threatened to pull SpaceX's rockets from the International Space Station and spectacularly claimed the POTUS was named in the redacted Epstein files.

Although the pair has seemed to somewhat put their differences aside, Elon Musk has more recently been beefing with OpenAI's Sam Altman.

Musk has made his feelings on Zohran Mamdani clear, with some accusing him of using his X platform to promote views against the Democratic nominee ahead of the New City mayoral election.

On the eve of the election, Musk threw his weight behind former governor Andrew Cuomo and suggested that voting for Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa would hand the election to Mamdani: "Bear in mind that a vote for Curtis is really a vote for Mumdumi or whatever his name is. VOTE CUOMO!”

Musk's rage seems to come from Mamdani's anti-billionaire agenda that's focused on tax hikes for the wealthiest, corporate reform, and expanded public services. In the aftermath of Billie Eilish calling out billionaires in front of Mark Zuckerberg, the tech circle is equally rattled with Mamdani.

After Musk claimed the ballot form was a 'scam’, he was then 'schooled' on how the New York City elections work and why a candidate’s name can appear multiple times,

Despite the tech billionaire's hoping Cuomo would secure victory as the next NYC mayor, Mamdani won and broke records as the first Muslim, the first South Asian, and the youngest person in 100 years to hold the title.

That didn't stop Musk's last-ditch attempt to get Cuomo elected, posting on X and reminding residents to vote. This landed on the radar of Anonymous, and with the infamous hacker group already taking umbrage with Musk, their feud continues.

Calling out Musk's dual citizenship, the official Anonymous X wrote: "F**k off you aren't even American 🇺🇸."

Mocked by the @ifindr***rds account, it shared another post where Anonymous said: "Immigrants choose to live in the US, they are the actual Americans."

Musk clearly found this 'zinger' funny and replied with a laughing emoji.

Others pointed out that Anonymous appears to be a verified account that pays for X, although others turned against Musk.

One critic said: "Well at least people didn't forget to vote. Loser."

Another laughed: "Using your platform to get republicans in office worked great today! 😂"

A third concluded: "Omg! I’m glad you can find your sense of humor after those ridiculous comments. It’s the only way."
