In 2026, it looks like the world of influencers is only going to get bigger. But with that, there are concerns about where this lucrative corner of content creation is heading.
Some have already raised issues over the likes of 18-year-old Piper Rockelle supposedly breaking OnlyFans records with her earnings, while the United Kingdom's clampdown on pornography came just before adult entertainment star Bonnie Blue was arrested in Bali.
With continued complaints about what young viewers are potentially being exposed to online, the most extreme, like Florida candidate James Fishback, have called for a 'sin tax' on OnlyFans earnings.
There's more competition than ever as Rockelle and Lil Tay join more established performers like Sophie Rain, with newcomer Nia Noir causing a stir as she's been dubbed the 'world's most beautiful woman'.

Taking TikTok by storm, Nia Noir has 2.7 million followers on the platform. She's also got 233K on Instagram and directs her new admirers to her Fansly (an OnlyFans-esque platform) content.
Going viral due to her striking appearance, comments on Noir's videos include gushing sentiments like, "Chat I’m cooked I can’t tell anymore💔🥀 ," and, "Your beauty is truly a masterpiece."
Over on her Fansly, Noir encourages you to sign up for her saucier content with a bio that reads: "Your midnight obsession. The darkest fantasy you’ve ever had. Uncensored & Raw. Come to the dark side…"

Proving that you can't trust everything you see online, you might be shocked to learn the truth about 'Nia Noir'. Then again, 2025 especially taught us to expect the unexpected.
The thing is, Nia Noir isn't real. Yes, she's yet another artificial intelligence creation who comes in the wake of Tilly Norwood being Hollywood's first AI actor.
Like Norwood triggered backlash from major names, including Emily Blunt and Natasha Lyonne, Nia Noir is facing a barrage of abuse. Bonnie Blue has said she's not afraid of being replaced by AI, but we're not sure that other adult stars will be quite as accepting of Nia Noir and other creations.
Some have clocked that at least one of Nia Noir's videos has been adapted from Tatiana Kaer's TikTok. The 21-year-old Spanish influencer has seemingly had her content ripped off, while others have noted that Noir's face looks almost completely different in some videos.

Responding to the revelation, one person complained: "Noooo, oh my gosh her account came up on my FYP, and I thought it was real, what the f**k."
Another added: "I'm so happy people know it's AI now, but still, a lot of people think it's real."
A third concluded: "I don't know how people still manage to claim it's not AI, it's so obvious...you can see it through literally everything 😭."
There are likely those in the comment who know that Nia Noir is little more than an AI construct, but simply don't mind. This only amps up the concerns that we're losing human connections and that the dead internet theory is alive and well.

Even though Noir's account was apparently briefly banned, it's back up at the time of writing and getting thousands of likes on every video.
