A man who once went viral for his video where he shared his experience ‘being ugly’ has given his followers a heartwarming relationship update.

The YouTuber from Sweden posted his initial video back in 2018, which he titled ‘Being Ugly: My Experience’.

In the clip, David Martinsson detailed how he was unhappy with the way he looked, saying: “My entire life I have been treated quite bad. I feel really alone, and I feel like I was going to search YouTube for people with the same issue as me, and that is being really unattractive.”

Martinsson shared how he felt his appearance was holding him back in his efforts to find love.

The video went viral, with many people sharing messages of support for the content creator.

However, there was one comment in particular that stood out as a woman named Juliana wrote: “I actually think you’re kinda cute tbh. I mean it.”

From there, the pair started talking, struck up a relationship and one year later, they got married.

Juliana later replied to her original comment on the video, saying: “1 year later I’m his wife.”

Recalling the moment, she explained: “Shortly after the wedding I remembered the first comment I ever made to him on his channel :p little did I know that the guy that popped up on my YouTube recommended and I thought he was very cute was going to be my husband. Funny how destiny works.”

Now, they are parents, with Martinsson documenting the journey online.

He said: “Today we’ve just going to be talking about stuff that’s been going on lately and the biggest news is we finally know the gender.

“It’s a girl and her name’s going to be Stella. Yeah. So that’s what’s going on.”

Juliana often shares pieces of the couple’s lives on her TikTok page, which she has recently taken to to share a cute relationship update.

In the clip, she and Martinsson can be seen walking with their daughter, with the caption reading: “POV: Flirted too hard and now I’m carrying a stroller in the middle of the Swedish winter.”

She added: “I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world tho.”

Many people took to the TikTok comment section to share their own reactions to the update, with one user writing: “The man the myth the legend right there.”

Another said: “Still the best love-story on the internet.”

A third person commented: “still to this day the best love story to ever be known.”

And a fourth added: “im really happy I see yous are still together.”
