Chris Martin has spoken up at the first concert following the Astronomer CEO scandal, issuing a warning to audience members in a attempt to avoid further controversy at his concerts.

The world of social media joined together to laugh and rage at one rather awkward event of infidelity, as tech company Astronomer's CEO and Chief People Officer were caught together on a Coldplay concert's jumbotron.

It's natural for events in America to have a 'kiss cam' that goes around the stadium looking for couples, but in a venue with around 65,000 audience members, it just so happened to land on the pair who wanted to be seen the least.

TikTok user 'instaagraace' managed to capture the moment that Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot went from a loving embrace to hiding their faces, and social media quickly turned it into a cheating scandal as Byron is married to another woman.

His wife broke her silence in a bold move on Facebook shortly after, and everyone chimed in with their own thoughts - including some high profile figures like Elon Musk.

Coldplay's Chris Martin has finally offered his own response to the situation that took place at his concert though, and he's certainly mindful of it not happening ever again.

What has Chris Martin said about the cheating scandal?

As reported by the Independent, Chris Martin offered a not-so-subtle warning to audience members before turning the camera to the audience, where he declared:

"We'd like to say hello to some of you i the crowd. How we're gonna do that is we're gonna use our cameras and put some of you on the big screen." Martin then grinned and asked, "so please, if you haven't done your makeup, do your makeup now."

This is a clear warning to any 'couples' who might not want to be seen together on screen like Byron and Cabot, although Coldplay's production team still played it safe and didn't appear show any couples together during this segment.

This isn't the first thing that Martin has said about the incident though, as his immediate reaction to the Astronomer pair was far more accurate that he might have expected.

Fans that attended the original Gillette Stadium concert reported hearing Martin remark that Byron and Cabot were either "having an affair, or they're just very shy," although Martin likely didn't quite anticipate quite how right he would be.

Byron quickly deleted his LinkedIn account following the scandalous reveal, and on Saturday, Astronomer announced that its CEO had tendered his resignation.

"As stated previously, Astronomer is comitted to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding," the statement from the company reads. "Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met."
