Now, there may have been more proof found right here on Earth.
Explorers found what looks like a massive doorway carved right into a mountain, and people are losing their minds over it.
Two explorers were filmed at the Dzungarian Gate, which is essentially a vast valley that cuts straight through the mountains between Kazakhstan and Xinjiang, China.
Stretching an incredible 4,800 kilometres (3,000 miles), the formation has been linked to Ancient Greek legends as the possible location of the Hyperboreans, who were mythical people believed to live in the far northern reaches of the world.

For centuries, the valley served as a passage for horseback riders travelling between regions, acting as a natural corridor through otherwise impassable mountain terrain.
Thanks to the video being posted on Reddit, the internet is in awe.
The post reads: "Explorers have found what looks to be a giant doorway located in the Dzungarian Alatau Mountains of Kazakhstan.”
As the camera zooms out, the doorway almost seems like it could be holding back an army of White Walkers from Game of Thrones, or concealing some ancient supernatural force.

"So ancient aliens," one Reddit user declared confidently.
But skeptics were quick to offer more mundane explanations. "There are a ton of these kinds of formations in Southern Utah. It's the beginning of the formation of an arch, which is very naturally occurring," replied another.
A third took a more humorous approach, writing: "If it actually were a door, I’ve seen enough movies to know that something unspeakable has been sealed behind it."
A fourth user pointed out: "It would be a weird place to put a giant door seeing as how a few more feet and you're on the other side of the formation. I'm going with natural formation."

While the formation is undeniably impressive and mysterious-looking, geologists have identified similar structures in multiple locations around the world.
Southern Utah, in particular, is renowned for its natural arch formations that appear to be doorways carved into rock faces.
Still, the rationale behind the formation doesn't make it any less awesome to look at.
