Astronauts could be on the verge of making one of the biggest discoveries in human history, as one scientist claims that evidence of a 50,000-year-old civilization living on the Moon will soon be revealed in shocking space missions.
There are plenty of alien fanatics across the internet, yet one of the biggest voices is leading podcaster and comedian Joe Rogan, who frequently discusses the extraterrestrial on his show.
He often welcomes guests who are deemed experts in the field of alien investigations, and a recent episode saw famous scientist Gregg Braden outline a wild claim that has supposedly been hidden from the public.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Braden claims that there is evidence of an ancient human civilization from over 50,000 years ago on the Moon, and that both the United States and Russia discovered this during the Cold War but decided to keep it a secret.
While this would be a staggering revelation on its own, Braden also claims that space agencies in both China and India are planning expeditions to the nearby space rock in order to reveal this evidence to the world, live streaming it for all to see.
China's efforts will be led by the Chang'e 7 mission, which is set to launch in 2026 giving us a glimpse soon of this supposed civilization. India's expedition will launch a little later, with the Chandrayaan-4 drone setting off from Earth in 2028. Both will also launch manned expeditions somewhere between 2030 and 2040.

When it comes to the actual evidence, Braden calls to photographs captured during NASA's Clementine mission, which supposedly reveal structures on the Moon with 'impossible' 90-degree angles that wouldn't naturally appear.
NASA has previously dismissed these specific claims, but many take it to be proof that something isn't quite right, and this new theory of an ancient group of humans could other further those beliefs.

"The evidence suggests they're from us, from a time in our past, a cycle of civilization where we did great and beautiful things by working together until we destroyed one another through war, and that we're repeating that cycle," Braden explained.

It won't be long until we're able to see whether these claims have any basis in fact though, as China is planning on streaming live feeds of both mission control and the cameras of its spacecraft when it lands on the Moon next year, with the footage being broadcast on national TV and social media alike for all to see.
