People gobsmacked after surgeon reveals insane before-and-after facelift results

You won't believe your eyes

There's another surgery sensation taking over TikTok, with one person's facelifts going viral...but not necessarily for the right reasons.

While we know beauty is in the eye of the beholder, that doesn't mean people aren't tempted to make a few aesthetic tweaks.

Away from biohacker Bryan Johnson trying to live forever, we've seen a boom in celebrities and the general public taking so-called 'skinny jabs' like Ozempic and Wegovy. Cosmetic surgery remains a controversial corner of the aesthetics industry, especially with new evolutions like using fat harvested from dead people.

Still, with the effects of facelifts wowing people online, people continue to be obsessed with how others look...not just themselves. We've been warned about the various side effects from the likes of lip filler, but some still seem destined to try and return to their younger selves.

Over on TikTok, the work of Dr. Cao Plastic Surgery has caused a stir, with one particular video showing off the apparent transformation of a 71-year-old woman. A scroll of Dr. Cao's TikTok shows him fixing 'botched' nose jobs, chin liposuction, breast augmentation, and Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System (SMAS) facelifts.

Claiming to be based in Vietnam and offering free consultations, Dr. Cao's surgeries are raising a few eyebrows (no pun intended).

In the video, people are shocked by the transformation of the 71-year-old, with it being genuinely hard to tell whether it's the same person. There's some admittedly gnarly scarring, and we don't get to see the typical results of 'one month later', leading many in the comments to call out the procedure.

Many compared it to 'Dr. Kim', who is another infamous TikTok surgeon who shares similarly shocking transformations.

It's unfair to judge Dr. Cao on this video because we can't see the healed version, although that hasn't stopped the comments from flowing in. Many of these TikTok-famous surgeons are accused of faking their videos for engagement.

Aside from accusations that Dr. Cao is the 'new' Dr. Kim, some weren't sold that it was the real deal, with one person writing: "This is not the same person."

Another unfairly added: "Sorry but it gives off Ed Gein vibes."

A third said: "I mean Kris Jenner is the same age as her but the facelift she got was successful idk about that."

Speaking of the Kardashian matriarch, many cheered Kris Jenner for her amazing facelift that was apparently the handiwork of Dr. Steven Levine. Levine has become the go-to for many celebs, with him being praised for his natural-looking facelifts and enhancements to other body parts.

As TikTok keeps reminding us, maybe some people should be taking a leaf out of Levine's books.
