The fracas between Elon Musk and Donald Trump continues, with the world's richest man setting the internet alight after he claimed the President of the United States was named in the Epstein Files.
While it was all going so well between Elon Musk and the President after the former was put into power as the Head of the Department of Government Efficiency, things started to fall apart over the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Musk called it a disgusting abomination, leading to Donald Trump speaking out about his former 'First Buddy'.
Things have escalated, with everyone from the White House to the head of the FBI passing judgment.

More and more scandalous details are coming out, and while Musk has deleted his sensationalist post claiming the POTUS' name is listed in the Epstein Files and that's why they're being held back, the drama doesn't look like it's going to end anytime soon.
It's not just Musk's mysterious black eye that has everyone talking, but away from taking a sucker punch from his own kid, there are wild claims that Musk has been throwing punches at the White House.

Now, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has spoken out about rumors that a physical fight broke out between Elon Musk and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.

It comes after The Washington Post claimed Bessent and Musk started trading insults during an April meeting. The outlet says that things escalated, with Musk reportedly showing his shoulder into Bessent 'like a rugby player'. The story comes from former White House strategist Steve Bannon, who recently called for Musk to be deported. Musk is said to have rammed his shoulder into Bessent's ribcage, with Bessent supposedly hitting him back
Leavitt has addressed Bannon's claims, downplaying things to Fox News host Maria Bartiroimo. Bartiromo asked Leavitt: "Did Musk actually get physical? Was there a fistfight that he body checked the treasury secretary?" A defiant Leavitt said: "I certainly wouldn't describe it as a fistfight. It was definitely a disagreement. Although I was not there, I didn't witness it with my own eyes. I heard about it through secondhand reporting.
"But again, we've moved on from that. The president has moved on from it, and the entire administration is focusing on passing this [big beautiful] bill."

Musk is said to be unhappy with the POTUS pulling the nomination for Democratic donor Jared Isaacman to run NASA, which, alongside the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, has apparently pushed him over the edge.
Keen to keep a lid on things, Leavitt concluded that there were 'healthy disagreements' between Musk and members of Trump's cabinet, saying: "You saw when President Trump graciously sent Elon Musk back to his companies, Secretary Bessent was there in the Oval Office, along with Secretary Lutnick and Stephen Miller. I was there, the chief of staff was there, and we were all hoping for the best for Elon."
Whether there's any truth to these stories or not, it seems the White House isn't wading into this war of the words.
