It was a tweet heard around the world, and after Elon Musk spectacularly claimed that President Donald Trump is holding back the coveted Epstein Files because he's named in them, the fallout continues.
While Elon Musk looked like he was in with Donald Trump, things soon fell apart between the President of the United States and his so-called 'First Buddy'.
The world's richest man notably called out the latter's One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which triggered a chain reaction of events that led to Musk going on a rampage on X.

As well as calling for the POTUS to be impeached, Musk said he'd pull his SpaceX Dragon rocket out of service and also linked Trump to the Epstein Files.
Although Trump had been mentioned in the same sentence as Epstein over the years, it was previously thought he wasn't mentioned in the files.
Tesla is already suffering in the aftermath of Musk's explosive post, the White House has issued a scathing response, and now, FBI head Kash Patel has shared his thoughts on the whole thing. Speaking to Joe Rogan, Patel reacted live to learning about Musk's post.

The head of the FBI has recently come under fire for not getting involved in the Epstein Files scandal, and despite the recent drama, it doesn't sound like he'll be jumping in anytime soon.
As Patel learned about Musk's rant, he said: "That’s way outside my lane. What the f**k” was going on between the president and his former 'first buddy'."
Both Patel and deputy director Dan Bongino have previously supported the theory that Epstein was murdered in jail, and both have taken heavy criticism from right-wing influencers for now changing their story to suggest he took his own life while incarcerated. Rogan also suggested that the FBI has footage of the infamous Epstein Island residence
It was here that Rogan made the revelation, with Patel murmering: "I’m not participating in any of that conversation between Elon and Trump."

Rogan warned, "Someone should take his phone away," about Musk, then asked Patel: "How does he know? Does he know that Donald Trump’s in the Epstein files? Does he have access to the Epstein files?”
Patel admitted: "I don’t know how he would, but I’m just staying out of the Trump-Elon thing. That’s way outside my lane."

He went on to reiterate it's not his "lane and this ain’t it," as Rogan questioned how much time Musk is spending on social media. A concerned Rogan concluded: "I understand he owns Twitter, I think it’s bad for your mental health. I think posting things publicly all day and arguing with people all day is bad for you."
Both Musk and Trump have appeared on Rogan's podcast, and when one of them eventually returns to the platform, it's sure to be an episode for the ages.
