Anyone with even a fleeting interest in the AI world will know that Sam Altman and Elon Musk aren't on great terms, but OpenAI's CEO has offered a new hilariously cryptic four-word response when asked about his relationship with the richest man in the world.
Despite being close over a decade ago when they decided to form OpenAI together, Sam Altman and Elon Musk have since been trapped in a lengthy feud that has no clear end in sight.
Musk has attempted to sue Altman and OpenAI on two occasions in recent years, taking aim at the company's decision to move towards a for-profit model alongside allegations of antitrust breaches due to its ties with Microsoft.
The richest man in the world also mockingly threw a $97 billion bid at OpenAI, to which Altman responded with a $9.7 billion bid for X of his own.
Altman has also fired numerous savage shots at Musk in recent interviews, illustrating that he 'feels sorry for him' and that his whole life 'is from a position of insecurity'.

He has now continued to make no secret of tensions with Musk in a new interview, where he offered a simple yet effective four-word response when asked about their relationship.
What did Sam Altman said about Elon Musk?
As shared by Bloomberg Television, Altman, when asked how his relationship with Musk is right now, responded with a knowing smile on his face: "How do you think?"
It's certainly not a surprise that they still aren't on the best of terms, but Altman - at least through his demeanor in this interview - appears to be relatively unbothered by it all.

Altman was also asked about Elon's 'bust up' with Trump, which famously occurred across social media in early June where both sides threw wild accusations at each other amid the billionaire's swift exit from government.
"Elon busts up with everybody," Altman retorted in a lighthearted manner, "I mean, come on, that's what he does."
What does Altman think about Musk's America Party?
The OpenAI CEO was also quizzed on his thoughts about Elon Musk's new political party named the 'America Party', which was announced following the tech mogul's frustrations with the Big Beautiful Bill.

"I don't know, I haven't had a chance to read about it, it's like the America Party or something?" Altman responded, despite recently claiming that he was politically homeless.

It doesn't appear as if he'll be jumping on Musk's political bandwagon any time soon though, if not only due to his complete unawareness of what the party actually stands for.
When asked if he'd be willing to donate to the America Party, Altman outlined that "outside of those words, you just said everything I know about the party."
