The plastic surgery industry is booming, with major names like Lindsay Lohan, Cardi B, and Ariana Grande all admitting they've had a little help along the way. Unfortunately, not everyone can get the same results as Kris Jenner's recent jaw-dropping facelift, with Courteney Cox famously having her facial fillers dissolved.
Trying to keep up with a celebrity's new look is a full-time job, and it's no longer as easy as saying you'll have Jennifer Aniston's iconic 'Rachel' haircut from Friends as cosmetic surgery continues to become the norm.
Some people will really take fandom to the extreme, shelling out thousands to look like their favorite celebrity. Going under the knife to try and look like David Beckham and Kim Kardashian has seen people grab headlines for their questionable results, but what about the man who spent $120,000 to look like a pop legend?
In a case of oops, he did it again, Bryan Ray splashed out the exorbitant sum in a quest to look like Britney Spears.

A quick scan of Ray's Instagram shows his love of Britney, even sharing a pre-surgery selfie of him with the chart-topping diva.

Speaking to The Daily Star, Ray explained why he undertook the image overhaul and what went into helping him look like Britney. Having undergone 100 procedures over more than 20 years, his mom originally paid $25,000 for his veneers back when he was 17. This was all part of him trying to capture the look of Britney's smile.
While his mom also paid for a nose job at 21, he's since been saving his own money and paying for the makeover himself.

Vowing never to stop, Ray said: "I am an ongoing work of art. When I look in the mirror at myself I am very happy. Am I perfect? No, absolutely not."
Saying that he's a human being just like everyone else, he added: "I aspire for a certain level of beauty that I draw my inspiration from Britney Spears and that will never change because my admiration for her has only grown over the last two decades."
Having undergone two rhinoplasties, cheek facial implants, soft tissue and lip augmentation, he's even given himself an eyelid lift to try and replicate “Britney’s big beautiful eyes."

Discussing the star's look, Ray gushed: "I think she is more beautiful now than I did 20 years ago because my emotional growth is stronger and she will always be the pinnacle of beauty in my eyes and I will always strive for a beauty like hers."
Ongoing maintenance includes Botox every six months, as well as hair removal every six to eight weeks. Despite facing a barrage of abuse from online trolls, Ray remains defiant: "I also want to be clear that I’m not disillusioned into thinking I could bring a photo of Britney Spears to the best plastic surgeon in Beverly Hills and I would then look like Britney Spears."
Importantly, he reminds us that he isn't trying to look exactly like Britney: "I understand my face, my symmetry, my features and what I’ve done is work in collaboration with plastic surgeons to see what characteristics could be altered in a way that is inspired by Britney to resemble that look of hers.
“I do get that people don’t understand it. People might call me weird or crazy but I think being open about it in the way I have will help eliminate the stigma."

Hoping to reduce the stigma associated with cosmetic surgery, Ray continues his journey as Briney's number one fan.
