Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding invite has been slammed as the ‘worst invitation design ever seen’.

And if the backlash is anything to go by, maybe money really can’t buy taste.

The billionaire Amazon boss is said to be tying the knot this week in Venice, Italy, in a star-studded affair allegedly costing up to $20 million.

Guests will reportedly be in the Cipriani and Aman hotels, with the guest list rumored to include Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Ivanka Trump, and Jared Kushner.

According to a report by the Daily Mail, wedding experts Kunal Madan, the CEO and Founder of DressPreservation.com, and Zoe Buke, from Hitched.co.uk, believe that the wedding could cost up to $20 million, with some suggestions placing that figure even higher.

The entertainment alone is expected to set the billionaire back by $2 million, with headliner artists rumored to be performing.

Flowers and decor will cost around $3 million, and Sanchez will quite literally look a million dollars in her dress.

It has now been reported that ABC News has obtained a portion of the invite, where guests have been asked not to bring gifts.

Accompanied by illustrations of feathers, shooting stars, birds, and butterflies, the notes reads: “We are excited for you to join us! We have one early request: Please, no gifts.

“Instead, we’re making contributions in your honor and with gratitude to you for making the journey to celebrate with us in Venice.

“Donations on your behalf are being made to the UNESCO Venice Office to safeguard the city’s irreplaceable cultural heritage, to CORILA to restore the lagoon habitats that protect Venice’s future, and to Venice International University to support research and education for sustainable solutions.”

“This magical place has gifted us unforgettable memories. Our hope is that through these efforts and by you joining us, Venice will continue to inspire wonder for generations to come.”

Many people have taken to social media to share their own reactions to the leaked invite.

On X, formerly Twitter, one user wrote: “Not Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding invite looking like an illustration from a YA romance novel lmao. Childish.”

Another said: “Wow, that's the worst invitation design I've ever seen.'

A third person commented: "No way this is real. I could have chosen better clip art."

And a fourth added: "When you are the richest man on earth but made wedding card via Microsoft Word and Pinterest."

While Bezos' current bank balance stands at a healthy $228.3 billion (at the time of writing) and makes him the fourth-richest person in the world, some clearly think he's skimped on the invite design budget.
