The eye-watering cost of Jeff Bezos’ wedding to Lauren Sanchez has been ‘revealed’ as protests against the lavish event heat up.
The billionaire Amazon boss is rumored to be tying the knot to Sanchez later this month with a star-studded guest list for the ultra extravagant day.
It’s thought that the big day will take place in Venice, Italy, where Bezos’ $500 million superyacht will be moored nearby.

Guests will reportedly be in the Cipriani and Aman hotels, with the guestlist rumored to include Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom, Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.
According to a report by the Daily Mail, wedding experts Kunal Madan, the CEO and Founder of DressPreservation.com, and Zoe Buke, from Hitched.co.uk, believe that the wedding could cost up to $20 million, with some suggestions placing that figure even higher.
But why will be day be so costly? Of course, no expense will be spared for one of world’s richest men.

The entertainment alone is expected to set the billionaire back by $2 million with headliner artists rumored to be performing.
Flowers and decor will cost around $3 million and Sanchez will quite literally look a million dollars in her dress.
Madan said: “Couture wedding dresses alone run $500,000 to $1 million, not to speak of a one-off haute couture wedding dress by Dior, Valentino, or Elie Saab, and with several wardrobe changes.
“Accessories, custom suits for Bezos, and styling personnel drive it up.”

Buke added: “They'll be going bespoke. A custom bridal look from a couture fashion house, with outfit changes and accessories, can easily surpass $1 million. And that’s not even thinking about the top-of-the-line jewelry the couple will be rocking.”
And that’s not all, as the experts predict that wedding favors alone could cost the couple up to half a million dollars with guests walking away with ‘one-of-a-kind pieces from brands like Hermès, monogrammed gadgets, or custom gift sets’.
Kunal went on to say: “Wedding favors for the wedding party and guest experience enhancements could run $200,000 to $500,000.”

Bezos proposed to Sanchez in May 2023 with a $2.5 million diamond ring, with Sanchez admitting that she ‘kind of blacked out’ when she saw it.
The couple celebrated their engagement with a party in November 2023 at Diane von Furstenberg and Barry Diller’s Beverly Hills mansion.
Guests of the event included the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian and Robert Pattinson.
