It's poised to be the soirée of the century, with Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez due to tie the knot in Venice.

The Amazon founder and American journalist had their high-profile affair exposed in 2018, and after splitting from their respective partners, have been engaged since 2023.

With Jeff Bezos' impressive bank balance boasting $226.7 billion and making him the fourth-richest man in the world, we always knew his wedding was going to be a lavish affair.

Away from controversy about locals potentially protesting the wedding due to its impact, there have also been chuckles behind the happy couple's backs as some claim the leaked wedding invite is the worst they've ever seen.

The big day is tipped to cost upwards of $20 million, and with a not-so-small fortune being spent on the nuptials, it's attracted some big names from the tech world, Hollywood fame, and politics.

Who is on the guest list for Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding?

A number of big names have already been papped in Venice, with the Kardashian dynasty out in force.

Kim and Khloe Kardashian have been spotted boarding water taxis alongside Kris Jenner, who is there with her partner, Corey Gamble.

Alongside Kim growing close to Sánchez in recent years, Jenner previously posted a gushing birthday message on Instagram that read: “You are an amazing mom, fiancé, sister, daughter, and girlfriend, and I am so blessed to have you and Jeff in our lives

"We have made the most delicious memories together and I can’t wait to make more!"

Also already on the ground in Venice are fashion designer Diane Von Furstenberg, as well as Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, and their three children, Arabella Rose, Joseph Frederick, and Theodore James.

It's said that Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner have nabbed an invite, while Donald Trump Jr. and new girlfriend Bettina Anderson are also expected to stop by.

There's a question mark over whether Donald Trump himself will be in attendance, but as well as Bezos attending his January inauguration, the fact that the POTUS is currently in Europe could line up with a surprise appearance from the Commander-in-Chief.

Other names expected to stop by are Jessica Alba and Desperate Housewives' Eva Longoria, with the latter attending Sánchez's bachelorette party.

There are plenty of rumors, with wild card whispers pointing to Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, and Andrew Garfield.

In terms of the tech world, the fact that Bill Gates and TKO Group Holdings' Ari Emanuel were present at the engagement party means they're also tipped to attend.

Why isn't Katy Perry at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez's wedding?

One notable absence is Katy Perry.

After shooting for the stars along with Sánchez on Blue Origin's NS-31 rocket, Perry faced a major backlash.

The singer has apparently admitted she 'regrets' her behavior while soaring above the Earth, but many have questioned why Sánchez's space sister isn't in attendance. Fellow astronaut Gayle King is said to be attending, as is Oprah Winfrey, who was originally set to fly on the rocket.

Perry is performing in Australia on the first day of celebrations, and in the midst of rumors that she's split from husband Orlando Bloom, the Pirates of the Caribbean star is said to be heading to Venice on his own.

There's sure to be plenty of musical talent, and even if Perry isn't there, Bezos and Sánchez have potentially secured Elton John AND Lady Gaga to perform as entertainers rather than guests.

According to the Daily Mail: “Lauren wanted some big talent to sing for them and it just doesn't get any bigger than Gaga and Elton.

“It also helps that Gaga and Elton are good friends and were happy to do it together, which is cool. It will be like a mini vacation for the besties.”

Despite this, it's been denied that either will be there.

With the wedding sure to be the hottest ticket in town, even more famous faces are destined to be partying the night away in Venice.
