While 15 minutes of fame barely amounts to 15 seconds of fame these days, the savage world of TikTok has elevated some to superstar status. Up there with social media megastars like Jimmy "MrBeast" Donaldson, KSI, and the Paul brothers, Khaby Lame has carved quite a legacy for himself.
As the most-followed TikTok account, the Senegalese and Italian influencer has amassed a jaw-dropping 162.2 million followers. After being laid off during the COVID-19 pandemic, Seringe Khabane Lame made a name for himself with his duet and stitch videos, where he would perform simple 'life hacks'. His popularity boomed, and in June 2022, he passed Charli D'Amelio to become the platform's most-followed creator.
Unfortunately, Khaby Lame's notoriety has put him in the path of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at a time when the Los Angeles riots continue to rage on.
There have been worrying scenes in LA, with Hasan "HasanAbi" Piker being caught in the crossfire and looting in Apple stores.

According to a statement released by ICE Lame had violated immigration rules when he entered the USA on 30 April, with a spokesperson clarifying: "U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement detained Seringe Khabane Lame, 25, a citizen of Italy, June 6, at the Harry Reid International Airport, Las Vegas, Nevada for immigration violations.
“Lame entered the United States April 30 and overstayed the terms of his visa. Lame was granted voluntary departure June 6 and has since departed the U.S."

According to someone close to President Trump's son, Barron, they were responsible for having Lame detained.
Bo Loudon is Barron Trump's supposed 'best friend', and posting on X, claimed that he decided to 'personally take action' to report the TikTok star to ICE.
In a series of posts, Loudon proudly said: "No one is above the law!
"I've been working with the patriots at President Trump's DHS to make this happen. He was just ARRESTED in Vegas and is in ICE CUSTODY!"

Loudon also referred to Lame as a 'far-left TikTok star' and an 'illegal alien'.
The Gen-Z MAGA name is a regular at Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence and says he helped capture the 'bro vote' by recruiting the likes of Adin Ross and Bryce Hall to the President's 2024 campaign.
Even though a community note on one of Loudon’s posts says that he’s spreading misinformation about his role in Lame's detention, ICE did confirm that the 25-year-old was apprehended at Las Vegas' Harry Reid International Airport.
ICE has since concluded that Lame was granted 'voluntary departure'.

Following this, a smug Loudon posted: "No one works faster than President Trump's administration!" He also shared the ICE tip-off line, encouraging others to follow in his footsteps.
