Some people want to join the workforce as soon as they possibly can, but this 7-year-old YouTuber has taken it a step further after being offered a job by a Russian tech firm.

YouTube and the internet at large allows anyone to make a name for themselves, giving people the capacity to show off their talents to the world.

Sometimes if you're lucky enough this can land you a job, whether inside a platform like YouTube or outside of it, as we've seen creators take steps into television, boxing, and so much more.

However, one young coding prodigy has taken things to the next level, as he's made a head start in his career after being offered a job at just 7 years old.

Sergey, a young boy from St Petersberg, has been uploading videos to YouTube since he was just five, and has amassed over 7,500 subscribers in the process.

His videos offer tutorials and information surrounding coding languages like Python and Unity, alongside deep dives into neural network technology alongside artificial intelligence.

These have captured the attention of many, but most importantly Russian information security firm Pro32, who have offered Sergey the position of head of corporate training.

The 'catch', of course, is that the role doesn't start until the young YouTuber turns 14, which is the legal minimum for employment in Russia, but it shows that he's certainly got a bright future ahead of him.

Pro32's chief executive Igor Mandik revealed in an interview with the BBC: "We have to wait for seven years, then we will definitely start a conversation about his salary."

This is likely due to the fact that the job in question should pay more when Sergey is old enough to start, compared to the likely salary he would earn if he started today.

Mandik also remarked that he believes that by the time he reaches age 14, Sergey will be "a guru of teaching and a guru of developing, and that is why we're really looking forward to this time."

Being just 7 years old the 'coding Mozart' has his whole life ahead of him, and the next seven years will likely feel like a lifetime before he can get started.

It just goes to show that the right skills can manifest in anyone regardless of age, and that the internet - while a burden for many at times - can open up doors that would otherwise remain impossible to access.
