One famous psychic's horrifying prediction for 2026 has seemingly already come true despite us only being a week into the year, leading many to worry what lies ahead for the next 12 months.
People across the world are fascinated by psychics and for good reason too, as the ability to forecast the future and give insight into what's to come is incredibly valuable if you manage to build up a track record.
It's certainly right to be apprehensive and skeptical, but some find the prophecies of legendary figures like Nostradamus and Baba Vanga impossible to avoid, alongside a number of current figures who have made a name for themselves by looking into the future.
Some have been able to predict major political assassinations and have even said that a world-changing event is on the horizon, but one psychic in particular has already managed to get their own prediction for this year correct.

As reported by the Daily Mail, spiritual teacher and author Jill M Jackson issued a warning ahead for 2026, prophesizing that there would be an increased number of earthquakes across the west coast of America and Asia, alongside 'major water events' that would be exacerbated by these natural disasters.
While earthquakes do happen regularly across the world, within the first week of 2026 there were already just under 100 quakes that registered above 4.5 magnitude on the Richter scale, with more than ten in total over 5.0 within the Pacific Rim.
These include earthquakes in Japan, Indonesia, Russia, and the Philippines, with the latter measuring over 6.4 on the scale in one that was particularly destructive.

"There's a lot of changes coming," proclaimed Jackson in her original prophecy. "There's a lot of Earth changes coming. I see land shifting... And it's important for us to be in a place of preparation. Pay attention to water and things like that."

One worrying aspect of her prediction was that earthquakes would also hit states such as California, Washington, and Oregon, and if you believe that she's been 'right' so far, then these natural disasters are far from over.
She has previously predicted major earthquakes in Japan – including one that reached 7.6 magnitude in Japan last year – and previous smaller quakes in California have many residents worried that an even larger one is on the horizon.

Alongside this, Jackson has warned American citizens to prepare for economic instability – which you don't necessarily need to be an expert to see considering the current state of the financial world during Trump's second term and the rise of AI.
"I do see a lot of polarity," Jackson revealed. "A lot of ups and downs. It's going to feel like a rollercoaster. Sadly, I do see a lot more people losing their jobs in 2026."
