Archaeologists believe that they have made another major religious discovery, as the site of one of Jesus' most famous deeds has seemingly been uncovered alongside cross referencing with the original gospels.
There have been a number of significant religious discoveries in recent years, stretching back over 2,000 years into ancient history to find the sites that link to the great flood that Noah survived with his ark, or a major site of worship that potentially links to the Ark of the Covenant's long-lost location.
Some archaeologists have even managed to uncover ancient civilizations that have been speculated for hundreds, if not thousands, of years, and mysterious coins appear to confirm one particular major event that occurred in the Bible.
This recent find, as reported by the Daily Mail, relates to the moment that Jesus famously cast demons into a herd of pigs, before they drowned in the Sea of Galilee.

Documented in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, this story sees Jesus travel across the Sea of Galilee from west to east, arriving on the shore to be greeted by a man who was possessed by a 'legion' of demons.
The demons possessing the man demanded to be sent into a herd of pigs if Jesus was to cast them out of the man. This caused a herdsman to rush away from the scene to a nearby city, prompting the residents to rush to Jesus and ask him to leave their region.
Many archaeologists have speculated and wondered where the exact location of this famous deed took place along the eastern coast of the Sea of Galilee, now also known as Lake Tiberias, yet Dr Scott Striping of the Associates for Biblical Research (ABR) believes that he's managed to find the harbor in question.

It is believed to be within the town of Kursi in Israel, and Dr Stripling was guided to this discovery by an ancient fish tank which was used hundreds of years ago to catch fish in the lake.
"All three gospels say there was a cliff nearby. All three say there were tombs nearby, and they tell us that Jesus was coming in on a boat from the west side to the east side," Dr Stripling explained.
Part of the reason why this discovery has remained unachievable for so long is that the harbor that Jesus likely arrived at has been hidden underwater and mostly forgotten, but it took old excavation reports, photographs, and GPS for Stripling and his team to finally discover the submerged ruins in 2023.
