The bombs have stopped (for now), and after Donald Trump seemed to broker a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, the President of the United States could take credit for bringing peace to the Middle East.
Iran and Israel have been locked in a brutal missile exchange for over a week, with the latter accusing the former of building a nuclear weapon.
Donald Trump reiterated, "They [Iran] can’t have a nuclear weapon.

Very simple—we’re not going to allow that," and called for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei to agree to a ceasefire.
The Supreme Leader said that Iran wouldn't buckle to outside pressures, and with one of Vladimir Putin's top generals claiming we're already in the midst of World War 3, it looks like the Doomsday Clock being closer to midnight than ever, and concerns about who'd be drafted for WWIII, were right to have us worried.
In a surprise move, the Israeli government agreed to Trump's ceasefire after 'achieving the objectives' of its assault on Iran.

Israel claimed that the 'immediate existential threat' of Iran's nuclear program had been eliminated, and after having "severely struck government targets in the heart of Tehran" while also "eliminating another senior nuclear scientist," it concluded: "In addition, the IDF has achieved full air control over Tehran's skies, inflicted severe damage on the military leadership, and destroyed dozens of central Iranian government targets."
Iran later agreed to the terms of the ceasefire, and taking to Truth Social, President Trump wrote: "THE CEASEFIRE IS NOW IN EFFECT. PLEASE DO NOT VIOLATE IT! DONALD J. TRUMP, PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES!"
It's not just the masses worried that the ceasefire won't hold, with artificial intelligence and ChatGPT also thinking this uneasy alliance is tenuous at best. Referring to the ceasefire as 'fragile', ChatGPT reiterated: " U.S. and Israeli leaders view the ceasefire as a done deal; Iranian officials say it’s contingent on simultaneous Israeli halting."
As there are no publicly available ceasefire terms, it's unclear exactly what both sides have agreed to, with ChatGPT continuing: "Neutral observers and reporters warn the ceasefire is premature and could collapse without mutual trust and defined terms."

There are already fears that the ceasefire has crumbled, as in just a matter of hours, the IDF said that missiles were launched from Iran and were being intercepted by Israel's Iron Dome. When the ceasefire was agreed, the office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed that Israel would respond 'forcefully' to any violations from Iran.
Taking this into account, the AI chatbot suggested that the next 24 to 48 hours are crucial: "There’s a real risk of further violations, especially given the mismatch in commitment and the ongoing tit-for-tat launches. The ceasefire could hold briefly if both sides slow operations—but fresh strikes could reignite hostilities."
As there are rumbles of continued operations, this casts doubt on the ceasefire's durability. Ultimately, ChatGPT concluded: "Analysts describe it as highly fragile and caution a return to open hostilities unless formal terms are established."
Iranian state media says that Iran has denied the latest round of strikes, but with us teetering on the edge of World War 3, it's likely that any version of a ceasefire could need a little tweaking.
