Xbox owners have been urged to send their old consoles to Amazon to secure a hidden discount.

In case you haven't heard of it, the Amazon Trade-In Program enables customers to trade in used gadgets in exchange for a voucher, plus 20 percent off a brand new Amazon device.

For instance, you could trade in an unused Xbox One X for up to $65 or an Xbox One S for up to $50, respectively.

You can then apply the cashback to an upgrade, knocking the price of a brand new Xbox Series S down from $428 to $363 (based on an Xbox One X trade-in) and $428 to $378 (based on an Xbox One S trade-in).
