Anyone looking to save some money should definitely pay attention to the newest Steam festival, as it offers out over 48 free downloads to players if they can nab them before the time expires.
There's nothing better than a free game, as it's likely to give you hours of fun for no extra cost. Xbox and PlayStation's subscription services add 'free' titles every month to those who pay for the service, but there's plenty of opportunities to pick up games for nothing on PC too.
While the Epic Games Store isn't the most popular there are still new free titles to download every week, and Steam often gives certain games a 100% price reduction amid the already inciting sale prices.
Thanks to the reveal of this year's Steam Automation Fest you now have access to over 48 free downloads that give you a glimpse of your next potential favorite game, so make sure to check them out before they expire.

What free downloads are available right now?
As reported by GAMINGbible, the Steam Automation Fest has collected many of the best demos that you can currently download across the world's of automation, simulation, and machinery, and it includes some long-standing fan favorites.

With over 173,000 reviews, Factorio has earned itself the 'Overwhelmingly Positive' rating which is the highest you can achieve on Steam, and it's for good reason.
This heavily addictive sim has you building automated factories with increasing complexity, and it's just one of those games that you can lose hours and even days in as you continue to expand your plans.
If you're looking for a taste of something that's not yet out then you might want to try out the Sandustry demo, as it's the best way to get excited about Lantto Games' unreleased project.
It looks very similar to Terraria, which is another PC gaming favorite, only with the addition of automated production chains as you head further into the sand depths below.

Star Birds is another demo for a game that's yet to release, and this one might be better for anyone who's looking for something a little more relaxing. You're tasked with building your very own bases on various asteroids, where you can create production networks and mine materials in an ever-expanding galaxy.
The best part about all of these demos is that almost all of the games available in the festival are currently on sale, so if you like what you play then you can take advantage of the discount to save some money.
When does the Steam Automation Fest end?
You have only got a couple more days to take advantage of these sales though, as the Steam Automation Fest officially ends on July 21 at 10 AM PT, so make sure to pick up any titles that you're interested in and play all of the demos before you run out of time.
