We're just weeks away from the release of Grand Theft Auto VI, and with the gaming world bracing for what increasingly looks like the biggest video game of all time, we're not sure you're ready for what's coming next.
While 2013's GTA V is honored as the most profitable entertainment product of all time thanks to GTA Online keeping it relevant, its little brother is tipped to shatter records and make billions in its first week alone.
Following years of leaks and rumors, GTA VI is locked in for a November 19 release. Even though GTA VI is just around the corner, there's still plenty we don't know about this return to a modernized Vice City, including who's voicing the lead protagonists, Jason and Lucia.
Whoever is voicing GTA's very own Bonnie and Clyde, the old guard has issued a warning. GTA V brought Franklin, Michael, and Trevor into our lives, and by extension, catapulted Shawn Fonteno, Ned Luke, and Steven Ogg into the mainstream.
What did the GTA V cast say to Jason and Lucia's actors?

Speaking to All Out Gaming at MCM Comic Con (via IGN), some of the franchise alumni issued a warning to whoever ends up playing Jason and Lucia. Franklin's Fonteno simply said: "To be honest, just listen to what Rockstar says. They’re gonna lead you in the right direction.
"But get ready. That’s all I can say, is get ready. It’s a ride that they’re gonna be on for a while.”
While there's speculation that any or all three of the GTA V leads could return in GTA VI, the rumor mill has gone into overdrive that Luke could be reprising his role as Michael De Santa. Whether he is or not, he's passed on his own words of wisdom.
We know the GTA fandom can be rabid, and warning Jason and Lucia's actors of what's to come, Luke reiterated: "Just make sure that you appreciate the fans. Let the fans know...fake appreciation, they can smell it.
“You have to really appreciate them, genuinely, because what we have is because of them. If you don’t have the fans, you don’t got nothin’. They’re the game, and that’s the bottom line."
While Ogg was there, the man behind the fan-favorite Trevor Philips decided not to impart his own thoughts apart from echoing what Luke said with a simple: "Well put."
Who's rumored to play Jason and Lucia in GTA VI?

Despite there being a metric ton of GTA VI leaks, the identities of Jason and Lucia's actors have somehow been kept under wraps. Even the massive CyberLeek leak hasn't revealed who will be playing them yet, and as we head into the final furlong before release, it's unclear whether we'll find out before the game lands on November 19.
That hasn't stopped plenty of speculation, with almost unanimous belief that New York-based Manni L. Perez is playing Lucia. As well as bearing a strong resemblance to her, Perez sounds just like the Lucia we've seen so far in the trailers.
Away from minor roles in the likes of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Chicago P.D., Perez conveniently did minor voice work on a 2019 GTA Online update. She recently appeared on a rare Instagram Live and was careful to dodge all GTA-related questions, presumably to honor any potential non-disclosure agreement.
There's less evidence when it comes to Jason, but the leading theory is that Dylan Rourke has nabbed the role of Jason.
Having appeared in episodes of Grey's Anatomy and Modern Family, internet sleuths have noticed he looks a lot like Jason. Similar to Perez, Rourke sounds a lot like the character in the trailers.
The only voice actor we currently have confirmed is Widow's Bay's Stephen Root, who we know will be playing Brian Heder, Jason's drug-smuggling landlord.
Given how the GTA V cast (and even those from games before it) have become legends within their own right, we hope Jason and Lucia's actors are ready for what's coming.
