A huge easter egg for GTA 6 could be hiding within its predecessor, as fans claim that they've found Lucia – the upcoming sequel's co-protagonist – living life as a blackjack dealer in the game's online mode.
Rockstar is certainly known for its attention to detail when it comes to the Grand Theft Auto series, but few would have been able to spot this potentially insane hint present in GTA Online as speculation ramps up following the Extended Look.
We've known that GTA 6 will feature two main playable characters – Jason and Lucia – for a number of years now, yet it was only after the gameplay overview shown on Netflix last week that we found out more about the actors behind the pair.
While both technically remain under wraps at the moment, speculation has suggested that Manni L. Perez and Dylan Rourke are the performers behind Lucia and Jason respectively — although neither have explicitly confirmed the news yet, despite a fake Instagram account suggesting otherwise.

Scoring a starring role in what many believe to be the gaming world's biggest ever release is a monumental achievement, yet that same confirmation led fans to dig deeper into Perez's past, identifying a 'very cool' easter egg that players missed over seven years ago.
Fans convinced Lucia was in GTA Online
Shared by 'Msolli' on X, fans of the series have discovered that this isn't Perez's first time in the GTA universe, as she previously provided voice work for one of the blackjack dealers that arrived in The Diamond Casino & Resort update for Grand Theft Auto Online in 2019.

Understandably the dealer has a limited number of lines, yet speculation that Perez is playing Lucia have led some to theorize that Lucia previously worked in a Los Santos casino before meeting Jason and moving to Leonida.
This isn't the first time that something like this has happened in the series, as Shawn Fonteno – the actor behind Franklin Clinton in GTA 5 – previously played an unnamed Grove Street Families member in GTA: San Andreas before his starring role nine years later.
"This is actually a very cool trend that Rockstar seems to have," wrote one fan in response to the speculation, but it's incredibly unlikely that this blackjack dealer and Lucia are the same person.
Other past characters could reappear in GTA 6
This unnamed blackjack dealer isn't the only person fans speculate could return in the upcoming release, as two major characters from past entries have also emerged as contenders thanks to wild theories.
Perhaps most prominently is Michael De Santa from GTA 5, as gamers have spotted the (admittedly blurry) poster for one of his films, Meltdown, in official screenshots for the game.
Meltdown was specifically involved in several main missions throughout the 2013 game, and some have wondered whether Michael could make the trip across America and call on Jason and Lucia for help.

It could equally be a simple nod for players in the know, but we won't truly know until the game is officially out as a reveal as big as this would be kept under wraps as much as possible.
Two characters from GTA: Vice City – the game that shares its location with GTA 6 – could also reappear in the new game, as fans believe that both Phil Cassidy and Tommy Vercetti, the game's protagonist, could resurface all these years later.
In the case of Phil Cassidy, some are convinced that a character shown in one of the trailers looks eerily similar, and he has appeared in several other GTA games so it's not necessarily out of the question.
Tommy Vercetti was also explicitly mentioned in content exclusive to the GTA 6 Ultimate Edition, and the open-ended nature of Vice City's conclusion has left many wondering whether the Hawaiian shirt-wearing criminal could show face again.
