It sounds like Batman needs to spend less time trying to save Gotham City and more time practising his Fortnite skills if he wants to get that dub. When not dressing in the cape and cowl, it turns out that former Batman actor Ben Affleck likes to kick back in the Batcave and crank some '90s. The problem is, it doesn't seem he's very good at it.
Celebrities ranging from Drake to Stranger Things' Finn Wolfhard, Modern Family's Sofia Vergara to Joe Jonas have shared their love for Epic Games' battle royale, while the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Brie Larson even got her own in-game locker bundle after she admitted to being a regular player.

Larson isn't the only superhero actor known to put Fortnite in their crosshairs, with Affleck telling the New Heights podcast how he's something of a gaming fan.

When asked about the inspiration for some of the weird and wonderful costumes in his new film called Animals, the Justice League star said his latest Netflix thriller has a bizarre nod to Fortnite. Affleck's son apparently said that Fortnite skins are 'tough', and while the Batman actor didn't understand what he meant, he confessed: "I thought these costumes are so kind of random and unusual, that's what I based the costumes on. I thought he'd be getting them off games."
As for his own questionable skills, Affleck explained: "I always play games. I play first-person shooter games, so I think I'm good, and then 12-year-olds just F you up.

“I try to come out, and I'm like, ‘Here I come.’ I get killed right away, and then they taunt you, like, ‘You suck. F you!’ I end up getting in arguments. ‘F you! I don't suck! I'm a grown man!’”
The idea of the Oscar-winning Affleck losing his cool and launching into a foul-mouthed rant against kids is quite hilarious, but there's something sweet about the 54-year-old proving he's just like the rest of us.
Fortnite is no stranger to DC crossovers, and even though we've had a Christian Bale-inspired skin modelled on The Dark Knight, Batfleck is yet to be immortalized.

Joining the now-defunct DC Extended Universe for 2016's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Affleck reprised his role for Suicide Squad, the maligned Justice League, and made a surprise cameo in the equally hated The Flash.
Sadly, plans for a full-blown Batman movie fell through, and with James Gunn rebooting Warner Bros.' slate for the DCU, the hunt is on for a new Batman. Aside from that, let's not forget that Robert Pattinson stepped up to portray the Caped Crusader in Matt Reeves' The Batman and is due to return for the upcoming sequel that's been placed on pause due to Reeves having to step away.
Now that Affleck has shared his affinity for Fortnite, we think it's high time devs at Epic Games honor him as they did with Larson.
A Batman costume based on Justice League's Knightmare timeline would surely sell like hotcakes.
As for Affleck, we hope he gets better at Fortnite soon.
