2023 marks the 10th anniversary of Pornhub sharing its year in review insights.
And the annual data, trends and more from the Canadian-owned adult website never fails to surprise.
Traffic from game consoles this year threw up some interesting stats. Site-users entering via PlayStation consoles dominated during 2023, with over 80% of console-traffic searches coming from them.

To be more specific, PS4 made up 41.6% of game console traffic, Pornhub said, although that is down -16.7% from 2022.
PS5 made up 40.1%, an increase of +77.3% from last year.
Elsewhere, Xbox saw a drop in search traffic on the site, at -35.4%, but still accounting for 16.7% of game console traffic overall.

Listed as ‘other’ on an infographic provided, 3DS and PS Vita accounted for 1.6% of game console traffic in the year.
Consoles aside, other searches were also revealed.
The most searched for movies and characters of 2023 saw Star Wars taking the top spot, knocking Harley Quinn off number one.

Game of Thrones was in third place, and Avatar came in at fourth place, despite both not even appearing in the top searches at all last year.
The most searched for video game character of 2023 was Fortnite’s Chun Li by a decent margin, with the Epic Games release also placing as the the most searched for game on the porn site in the past year for the third year in a row.
Tifa from Final Fantasy placed second, up a significant 18 spots from last year.
Lara Croft from Tomb Raider, Lady Dimitrescu from Resident Evil and Sonic from Sonic the Hedgehog also occupied some of the top spots for the characters people were searching for.

Fortnite dominates the top spot in video game searches, as in 2022 and 2021, Pornhub revealed.
Overwatch was in second place, while the third most searched for video game was Minecraft.
